OP offers pediatric EHR software solutions to independent pediatric practices, super groups, and CINs.
Despite the simplicity of the design, this software is an extremely powerful tool and does an amazing job at capturing every aspect of patient care.
This means loss of revenue for the practice. The reminder system is also very redundant and I have had numerous patient complaints over it.
The online training was great and timely (we fit the sessions within a month and this gave me time to spare for going online in time for October 2012). Customer service has also been wonderful.
I have reported this to the company but have only been told that it is being "looked into. I am very concerned that this information from the old paper charts has been lost.
Its easy to use, intuitive, and robust; support is excellent, the company is responsive, and constantly improving the software.
Although there was an attempt to be organized, it fell a little short. I also hated the bridging errors we would get from EMA to our billing software.
Modernizing Medicine better known as EMA is by far one of the most user friendly and easy to navigate products on the market. I like the big print and colors that are easy on the eye.
When a problem arises, sometimes you cannot reach someone directly and leaving an email is not always convenient. The response is too delayed and very frustrating.
I love that OP is for pediatric practices only, so the focus is solely on ways to help our office function better. The program is easy to use and is constantly being updated with new features.
The billing software and the integration with merchant processors isn't always smooth or seamless, causing disruptions in patient statements/collections and also errors that can be embarrassing.
Also, I like that it is designed for pediatrics, and I love the technology of how prescriptions are automatically printed out and sent to the pharmacy. I'm happy that our practice chose this software.
Sometimes, it's hard to find what I'm looking for, and sometimes, when you put information in OP, it becomes lost somewhere in the system. I don't get the whole messaging aspect of the software.
I like the ease of use and their commitment to meeting meaningful use requirements. They are always improving, and they listen to their customers.
The nightmare is for real. Their support now is really bad.
If it's for a pediatric office, this is an awesome software to have, great graphing for growth charts. Good documentation done by providers when using templates.
Revenue reporting is very difficult to understand.
