ivolunteer.com vs Membership Toolkit: Which is a better fit?

It has been a great experience working with iVolunteer. I would recommend it to any organization.

Requires a functioning internet connection, which could be a problem before Starlink.

Our overall experience with iVolunteer has been positive, and the company has been easy to work with and so helpful to answer our questions and offer advice when needed.

Sometimes it's difficult to figure out which tab has the events and who is attending.

It is easy to learn and work with and our faculty love how easy it is to sign up for meetings and events.

The organizational web page set up can be a bit confusing and the box doesn't expand to allow you to see the entire page while editing.

I love iVolunteer because it is super easy to run reports plus no ads.

I love the ease of use for people of all different technical abilities. It is easy to pass down from person to person as volunteers change, and their help desk is incredible.

When we were forced to migrate to this new platform from the company we used to use (company buy out) - we were SHOCKED at how horrible the new system was.

I would recommend this to similar organizations looking for an easy to implemment platform. While there are features I'd love to see its a great value for the functionality.

The change was forced on their timeline, not in the off peak time for their customer base.

The financial statements are seamless, easy to set up, and well formatted. The reports you can generate are amazing.

Additionally, the volunteer sign up is very limited and we have gone back to Sign Up Genius for volunteers.

Also the software tools improved communication and event planning which motivated many more in the 90% to step up and pitch in.

There is not a way to "merge" the two accounts. We have to select one account, manually update it to reflect the payment on the other account and "cancel" the duplicate member account.
