We built AssetTiger to work with every level of asset manager, from people who need to keep their tools sorted in their backyard shed to global corporations with tens of thousands of assets.
Any organization that needs to track the collection, processing, and storage of unique assets or evidence: Everything from physical and digital evidence to inventories to case histories.
I was pleasantly surprised to bring the software was a good balance between functionality and ease of use. It's highly customizable, had good import/export capabilities.
They retroactively started charging us with no notice. If this has happened to you just call and complain, they are refunding this without a fight because they know it is shady as hell.
I spent a lot of time looking for an assets management application. Finally, I found this great one, what is amazing, the first-rate asset management program that I ever found.
Having a very difficult time getting the bar code reader to work, it has to be used only in the app and for now my cell phone; this sucks.
Beautiful and well organized reporting benefits for sure, great assets tracking and management tools.
Occasionally have a connection refused issue via the web browser and have to wait 30 mins before I can assess the page again.
It's almost a joy to use. It has the general structure and design that I expect of a good asset management (which I hadn't yet seen in other asset management systems).
Email system barely works and the customer service is extremely vague and unhelpful.
The barcode system is great and assist with media handling 100% better than it used to be if you are diligent in where you are placing your evidence. Uploading documents is great, fast and efficient.
You also can add a document to an item without entering the item and again getting back to the other items is a pain. I just name ti document and drag and drop.
The ability to customize most of the fields is great. Customer service and helping us get started has been top notch.
The downside of any shared system is the lack of configurability in some areas of the system. With that said, the staff at Tracker have made every accommodation that we’ve asked, within reason.
I love the system and all that it does. Nothing more, nothing less and all that it does it does perfect.
There are a lot of functions with this product (not that that is a bad thing) but it can be overwhelming.
I love having SAFE in our office. This system has allowed me to keep track of all the matters and the items that are associated to the matter.
The experience with the Safe program has some improvements over the Fluid product, but it also has some very serious deficiencies that have yet to be addressed that can cause some serious problems.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Tony. I'm an IT administrator with Awaken Christian Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. We're a K through 12 school here. I do all the IT work for them and I would give AssetTiger a four out of five rating. Before we started using AssetTiger, we were using our school information system called FACTS Management. It had a built-in inventory tracking system for our Chromebooks and our textbooks, but it was very cumbersome, it was hard to use and it took a long time to get all the inventory scanned in and ready to go. We chose AssetTiger because of its simplicity. Very simple to set up, very easy to use, very easy to train people on. They also had a free trial, so we're able to get very familiar with AssetTiger before we implemented it. And since then it's been going really well for us. When we started using AssetTiger, it took between three to four weeks to get it fully implemented, to get people trained, the staff trained. It took probably two of those weeks to get them going on it and took two weeks to get all the inventory scanned in the things that we needed it for. So total setup, I'd say it took between three to four weeks, but it was a pretty easy setup, very easy to do. Didn't need to really contact support or help from AssetTiger to get things going. It's very self-explanatory. What I would recommend if you're considering using AssetTiger, is to go ahead, they have a free trial, so I go ahead and use that and I get really familiar with that. Use it for two to three weeks, see if it meets all your needs and has all the features you're looking for. And then some advice I would give you is just to remember that it doesn't have integrations with other software. It also doesn't have an API interface. So, if that's something you need, you might want to consider that as well.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
