Mary H
Executive Assistant
5.0

Speaker 1: My name is Mary. I am an executive assistant for our wine production company. We produce wine and we sell wholesale, direct to retail, and we export to Canada and China. I would give you a 10, honestly, a five out of five rating. Prior to uAttend, we had just the time punch paper timecards for our employees. However, one of them used an electronic time clock that would send an email to our accountant with his hours. As we started to get more production employees, the paper timecards became a hassle. It was way outdated, and so we upgraded to uAttend, which has been a game changer for us as I do all the accounting now and I work remote. So, I'm able to constantly track the different departments, the different hours, the different people. I'm able to catch any missed lunches, missed breaks. I'm able to provide benefit pay, holiday pay. I can look up their gross pay based on how much they've worked during that time period. The options are absolutely endless for my side as far as accounting and tracking our hours. So, we chose uAttend to be able to streamline our production hours. It was a lot of needing to get cost details of how many hours we're putting out versus outsourcing to other companies such as Hedy Holmes who provide workers for us. With uAttend, I'm able to input everything from my employees' pay. So, on any given week, I'm able to pull how many hours our production workers have worked. And I can pull how much gross pay they would've all made that week. And I'm able to compare that then to our third party outsourced contractors that will send workers to us. It also was a huge incentive for us to be able to divide our time clock essentially up into departments. So, we have production, we have wine-making, and we even have seller and lab. Each of those, I was able to assign a supervisor to. This saved us so much time. I was constantly calling our production guys or our team managers or our team leaders, asking for lunches or hours that seemed to be missed or holidays, because I was not able to see information on my end as I work remote. With uAttend, I assign everything to each team leader in their area and they are able to directly communicate with me. They're able to add notes to somebody's timecard. So, when I go in to run payroll, I can view that, oh, this person didn't take a lunch today, pay them for this extra time, or this person left early, but they put in for sick hours, use it against their sick hours. So, as far as time saving, it's been huge on time saving, but also just streamlining. Everything comes straight to me electronically. I never have a question. I never have to reach back out to anybody. I always feel very confident. It also allows each employee to access a portal. They can see everything in real time. They can see their hours, they can see if they miss something, they can see if I change something. So, there's no question, there's no confusion between the employees and myself. And there's no question or confusion between the team leaders and myself. So, it's been very helpful with time management, streamlining, and just overall communication. All right. So, uAttend was relatively easy to get started with. Again, I work remote, so that was probably the only hurdle for me, is I really needed to rely on my team leaders at the office and at the warehouse to connect their production team to uAttend. There are so many ways to clock in. You can do facial recognition, fingerprint, pin, user ID and password. So, I had the only issue of not being able to help them do that. Otherwise, I asked them how easy it was and if it was to the point pretty quick. And both my team leaders said it was exceptionally easy to get all of their guys into the system and fingerprint recognition and set them up to clock in on their cell phones. So, it really, really was simple. Anybody considering uAttend, I highly, highly recommend if anybody is working remote and needing to also communicate directly with an office or even employees that are clocking in somewhere. Two other big reasons I would suggest it for different reasons than that, is if you have employees in the field or you have employees that are on the go but are still needing to track hours, uAttend is great for that. They're able to clock in from their phone and their email. My last one is if you have an office or a work environment where you need to clock in multiple people at one time, for example, maybe a childcare center, you're able to do group clock-ins. And you can also do those from your computer or anywhere remote. So, your access is very, very unlimited regionally, and as far as what you can do with the application in the program.

Loura M
Office Admin
5.0

Loura M.: My name is Loura. I am an office administrator at U.S. Lawns. My rating for QuickBooks Time would be a five out of five. It works very well, as far as when someone is on the road. They can just stop with one client and then pick up with another while they're on the road. I can do geo-searching so that I can see where they are. So, overall, I would completely recommend QuickBooks Time. It was actually the first one that was implemented because we used QuickBooks for the accounting, so it was actually the first thing that we ever used. We chose QuickBooks was because of how easy it was for it to sync. We use several different groups of software, and QuickBooks basically syncs with everything. So it's just very easy to be within one software and be able to see what's going on with our books, using the [inaudible 00:00:57] software. Extremely easy to integrate, immediately. Simple as logging in and just everything just imports, so it's very easy. The only advice that I could possibly give to someone who is new to QuickBooks is, there's just a wealth of information, so you can just take a class that's available within the software. And it'll teach you everything you need to know. It's just very easy to learn. It's very intuitive. So it doesn't take a lot, if you're new to it, to learn it.
