Organizations looking to create more dynamic and engaging meetings, classes, training, and events by including audience members in the conversation.
From internal communications professionals to team leaders, conference organizers, and individual presenters, Slido is used by anyone looking to enable open conversation at a live or virtual meeting.
Poll Everywhere is great because it is so easy, quick, and efficient. It is a great technology for multiple purposes, such as classrooms, presentations, or events.
The only complaint I have is that the Android application sometimes fails to update polls and I am forced to leave and rejoin the session in order to see polls being offered.
This software helps students succeed and helps educators interact effectively with class members.
Logging in can be tricky and use through data (when you dont have wifi) is confusing to navigate.
Great interactive training available via webinar and the instructor was awesome. Allowed me to jump right in on my own.
Very simple app, which could also mean boring layout.
Beyond the price, the ability to allow respondents to text in their poll choices is really fantastic. Users don't need anything other than a web-enabled device or cell phone to take part in the polls.
We'll occasionally struggle to frame a poll question into one of the available question types. It's not a huge issue - usually it just forces us to break the question up.
Great for audience participation. Best part is the easy integration with Powerpoint for presentations.
There were a couple of instances where there was a delay in clicking results and them displaying.
Using Slido had allowed me to conduct quick online polling and voting with my classes over the years to help students get a better sense of their strengths and skills they look forward to improving.
Since the function to embed in the powerpoint has become available, I don't have any complaints. It used to be annoying to have to toggle between screens but that is gone now.
M pleased with it - it’s good fit a variety of functions - easy to use and interactivity is so important.
Anonymity allows people to troll and ask questions that can be challenging to answer, for all to see. No way to 'close the loop' automatically for unanswered questions.
It's nice to use and reliable, comfortable and without hesitation for me over all one hundred percent.
It has cured the anxiety that comes with asking any kind of question in the midst of people. It has also significantly affected our trainings at the office.
Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Beryl and I'm the founder and CEO of Be Complete, and we are a wellness firm. I give Poll Everywhere a four. When we were looking at software to do polls, we really struggled to find something that would integrate with the platform that we use, and it took us a while to really find a solution. The reason that we use Poll Everywhere is because it integrates very easily into the webinar platform that we use. We use Poll Everywhere for our class days to teach our students, and it really helps to reinforce the education. The students really like to see the results too, because it's in real time and it makes the classes really interactive. Integrating Poll Everywhere is pretty simple. It aligns nicely with the Google Meet platform, and so what we'll do is we'll embed the Poll Everywhere into slides. The only challenge that we have is sometimes the Poll Everywhere will freeze. And we have experienced that as a hiccup, but other than that, it's been pretty easy to integrate into PowerPoints and presentations. I recommend for anyone that's considering Poll Everywhere is to do a trial run to test and just to make sure that it's going to integrate with whatever webinar platform you're using. We use Google Meet and it does work with Google Meet, but there's also Microsoft Teams, and Zoom, and Webex, and different platforms. And so I would just recommend checking your platform before signing up for Poll Everywhere.
Guy G.: Hi, my name's Guy. I am the director of a small consultancy company, and I would give Slido five out of five. We've used a few different tools prior to Slido. Kahoot would be one of them. Kahoot's great for quizzes. The thing with Slido, I think it's a lot more dynamic in terms of getting word clouds, and there's lots of different ways of getting some great audience interaction, which is what I find so great about it. So we chose Slido because it's really easy to implement and get started on. I mean, I'm pretty into software and stuff, but actually anyone could get it and start using it pretty quickly. It's just all those different options that you can use to keep your audiences engaged. Getting started with Slido, super easy. You can either sign on with your Google account or set up your own password. And actually, you get loads of hints and tips from the guys at Slido across email to get you onboarded correctly, either as part of the journey, if you want to follow that kind of traditional journey or there's specific routes that you can take depending on your needs. If you're thinking of getting Slido for your company, I would recommend the big one is testing it out. Don't test it out day one on a big audience or any kind of audience, but try it. Play with it in the office. Get two or three people with mobile phones or whatever devices to join in so that you really see how it works in a test environment before you take it to your big audience presentation.
