Some confusing ways of achieving things, quite roundabout at times. No thought gone into group classes and multiple teachers assigned to groups as is norm in most schools.
As I said, we don't seem to want to use all aspects of this site, but the ones we use I find very good. And especially, if I ask for help, the quality of help is outstanding.
Apart from that I can't think of any feature that i personally am missing, or others could possibly need.

It is expensive for everything it offers and makes access difficult for anyone who is just starting their study will not be able to acquire it.
My Music Staff has really helped me streamline my business. It's so intuitive and easy to use, the interface looks so nice and inviting and my students love it too.
The auto-generated lesson fee feature is a bit confusing for me (showing a balance owed for lessons which haven't occurred) but even more so for the students.
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS APP TO OTHER PARENTS. This app is just amazing in what it does.
M sure most issues are user error but it can be frustrating. Not being able to reset families passwords anymore has become a big inconvenience and running reports can be tricky.

The emails are the worst part of this software, they are very old school and bland.
I am a cashless facility so I love how I can take payments online. Branding is important to me so being able to customize the parent portal is a great feature as well.
Initial set-up can be confusing. Needs more automation for repetitive tasks - daily/weekly reports, email/marketing for new customers or lapsed and the skill tracking notifications to families.
Really appreciate the ease of using iclasspro and our customers enjoy it as well. Would recommend it to fellow cheer gyms.
We cannot store these copies on their files and have to keep hard copies. It’s also somewhat hard to set up.

So before I was using my music stuff I was using a mixture of Trello and also a mixture of Google Sheets. And to be honest, I needed a software that could do everything. So organized teachers' timetables, but do some of the accounting and some of the invoicing. And so those really weren't cutting it, and also the timetables were just super messy. And so actually to have a software that had everything all in one was awesome. Another reason and feature I really liked about My Music Staff was the online resources. The fact that we could stick all of our resources and books and all our music material on those places that our students had access to all the time. No more kind of running out of sheet music or homework getting eaten by the dog, we now had a chance to just send digital sheets to our students so they always had access to those resources. So the transition, moving away from what we were using for My Music Staff was pretty simple. There's lots of FAQs on their website that really helped. And they also had really good support staff that could answer questions as and when I had them. So, it was pretty seamless. So yeah, it's great. If you are an independent music teacher or if you are even just a small school like us, I would highly recommend My Music Staff. It's just got all the resources you need in kind of one package, and that's why I love using it. I don't have to use different setups and different programs and different softwares to do the one job that I can do with My Music Staff.
Amber R.: My name is Amber. I'm the sales and marketing director at Pacific Edge Sports and I give iClass a four out of five rating. We switched over from Jackrabbit to iClassPro. It just worked better for our business. We liked the scheduling functionality and the app that iClassPro provided. And, they now also have even more features that we've upgraded to that Jackrabbit doesn't. We chose iClass because they are continuously working on upgrading their features and their system, and they take their customer feedback to heart. Their features requests are really cool and they let you know what they're working on, let you vote on things. So, it just makes it as a user really helpful to be able to just be like, "Hey, I want this feature," or, "Oh, someone's already requested it, I can go vote on it." So, there's that part of it. And then as I said before, the app is very, very useful for our customers. We find it cuts out a lot of time for our customer service in enrollment staff. When helping our customers, we can just send them to the app instead of spending 20 minutes on the phone booking a Makeup Token. So, it's just very easy. It was really easy for our business to get started with iClassPro. They get everything set up really quickly for you, so the waiting process is not very long. Once you've made your decisions and give them your info, it is set up very instantaneously, unless you want more customization, obviously. But otherwise, they are very instantaneous. Their support is very quick as well. You can call and get your answer the same day, email, you can set up Zoom calls and share screens. So, their support just makes the setup easy in-general. If you are considering using iClassPro, I would definitely look at all of their packages, even their newest package. I believe it's called the Premier package that we just upgraded to because it integrates a lot of marketing features that a lot of these systems don't have. So it's making it easier for not only our leadership team, but our staff, all the way down to our reps to use the system and help us market, instead of switching back and forth from a CRM system back to iClass. So if you're looking at iClass, definitely look at their highest package that has the website and the branded app, as having that all integrated together is incredibly useful when doing your enrollments, your marketing and your sales.
