Docebo serves organizations across every industry and use case and is an especially good fit for medium-to-large organizations looking to train multiple learning audiences from a single platform.
Any corporation or market (training companies, franchises, healthcare, financial services, retail, IT, higher education, etc.) needing to onboard, upskill, or train teams on products and services,
It has great administrative capabilities for reporting and managing hierarchies, very cool gamification elements, and solid performance and support.
The admin options for staff are limited. As a student I did not face any problem other than the fact the customizing options are limited.
This is the strongest advantage of this platform and its true competitive advantage - Lot of options for personnalization within the platform - Good reporting - Very quick customer service.
We found their response time to be horrible and their responses were unsatisfactory.
This solved many admin headaches like backup and reporting. The support we received to massage our data and get that successfully migrated was fantastic.
It was extremely haphazard with no real direction. We got spreadsheets of tasks but those were abandoned by our implementation person early.
I like the ease of use and how fast it is to implement. Docebo was a very good solution for smaller businesses.
Response time can be frustrating. Our platform can be slow sometimes.
Beautiful interface - ease of use - mobile responsive - inbuilt gamification - social community - Inbuilt Apps - automation of everything with innovative rules engine - this solution has it all.
I lost some completion data records where there should of been a hard stop warning that this could happen before I made the change.
Pros: affordable $rates for small schools, ongoing improvement of software/addition of features, capability for audio/video recording, excellent and prompt technical support.
The grading settings can be particularly confusing.
Good software for the money, good GUI that is straightforward with where you are what you can do in the module. Ability to setup of tests, paths of learning and fun stuff a plus.
At the beginning, the participants could check their account and diplomas without paying and only paid if they entered the course. Now they have no access to anything unless they pay.
We use the software as an LMS for our online school and our students love being able to see their progress and grades as they progress through our courses.
Errors like http errors appear from time to time. Night mode is still buggy.
Dave K.: Hi, my name is Dave. I'm the Director of Technical Learning at a small engineering and manufacturing company, and my rating for Docebo would be a 5. In terms of learning management systems, the main thing we had used before was Paylocity, and there the learning management system is really kind of an add-on, it's not their core functionality. So we felt better using a product that was actually totally designed to be a learning management system, and that was its primary function. So we looked around at a couple of different options, but quickly decided that Docebo was going to be the best thing for our current size, but also for scaling up as we grow. We mainly chose Docebo just because it seemed really easy to get started. It had a pretty low barrier to entry, so we were able to get a full learning management system up and running quickly. And then it also seemed like it would be able to scale as our number of users grew, their pricing model and just their scalability was pretty flexible so that it would be good for us when we were a small company, and then it would be good as we grew to a larger company and had a larger customer base using it. So those were kind of the two things, like ease of entry and scalability. The third thing would be, I liked how it was we could white label things so we could make the environment look like what we want it to look like, and it looks like our company, instead of looking like some sort of third party thing that we would be kicking our customers over to use. Onboarding was really good and easy. We got a specialist from Docebo to help us over the course of several weeks, and it was very structured and they gave us homework each week so that by the end of the six-week process we would have a working system with courses, and users, and notifications and all those features set up. So they did a really good job of walking us through that. I would have them consider just what their goals are, what features they want to use, and the onboarding team with Docebo will help them. If they have a plan ahead of time for what they want the platform to do. It's quite flexible, so the Docebo team should be able to help them achieve those goals. But I think it's just good to think about it ahead of time and think, how do you want this to work? Because that way you can plan your onboarding and plan your build a little bit better and end up with what you want at the end rather than sort of making it up as you go along.
Kierra G: Hi, my name is Kierra, and I'm the director of an online music school. We serve kids ages four through 18, and we're a company of 15 to 30 people. Out of five stars, I give CYPHER Learning four. CYPHER is our first LMS that we actually went with, but we looked into Schoolology, and we looked into Google Classroom, but they just didn't have the look that we needed for our school. We decided to go with CYPHER Learning really for, okay, it was a number of things. First was the aesthetic. We love the educational vibe that it had. Then second was just all of the features that it had, with the gradebook and tracking, being able to create your own courses, and now with AI, the AI-assisted course creation, which is very helpful, but really, it was just the look of it was more so what we were looking for. Schoolology and Google Classroom, they have similar functionality, but it's just the look, it just wasn't really what we were looking for. Then, of course, all the features, with AI being able to assist in course creation, because we are about creating self-paced courses, it just really is really helpful. Integrating CYPHER Learning was relatively easy. Anyone can do it, but there is a slight learning curve when it comes to customization of features, but it is really simple. We have a tech person on our team, so they were able to walk us through what was needed and what needed to happen. I would say, if you don't have a tech person on your team, if your team is smaller, you will be able to figure it out. It's not too complicated to where you need that point person, but it is a bit of a learning curve if you're not used to having to go through customization features. For those of you who are considering CYPHER Learning for your business, I would highly recommend it. I would just make sure that your audience and your target market is suitable for their aesthetics. It's great for the older learner, adult learner, collegiate learner. I would say the youngest, maybe middle, high school. That's one of the cons about it for us is we serve younger and older students. For our younger students, the aesthetic isn't as lively and bubbly for that age group, but it's great for our older kids. They love it. We've had to really use all of the customization features we can to get it for the younger age group. If you serve older learners, then I think it's great. I think it's really simple to use once you, it is a learning curve at first, especially if you're not used to an LMS, but once you get how they have their system laid out, it's pretty simple to use. Then their tech support is also pretty spot on.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
