Jobber is ideal for established and growing home service businesses seeking better organization, mobile access, efficient scheduling, automated invoicing and billing, and easy-to-use marketing tools.
Designed for web hosting businesses, it is an integrated solution that enables automation of operations such as billing, service provisioning, payments and more.
Platform, easy to use, great support, integration with QuickBooks Online, awesome customer service and is very reasonable in price.
Somehow their least cost as advertised came up to $100/month. When after trying the service and being disappointed they said, "Too bad.
Is a great product and does what they say it does. Its a great tool for helping you run your business.
The problem is there is no pricing function in the description area for estimating your job.
With user jobber i really enjoy multiple things. I love the fact that this platform is user friendly and easy to use firstoff while maintaining a simple but pleasing appearance.
I wasn't about to change with out a try out. I was burnt badly with the program we were trying to use.
The customer service is outstanding, The mobile program is AWESOME, my men were up and running within MINITUES of turning them on.
We installed this is the month of April, coming off a disaster with another company.
WHMCS is great for server automation and billing. It is very practical and can be integrated with other platforms, which I think is excellent.
Incredibly poor custoner service, terrible response time, difficult support instructions, slow communications, limited assistance with growth needs.
Overall, I am happy using this software and would recommend it as automation is always a good thing. And with that, I must add that reliable automation is what WHMCS has to offer.
You cannot edit notes, but you can edit a response on the customer-facing side which is bizarre. Unpaid" stamps on invoices can't be changed and this comes across as aggressive to customers.
The support forums are a fantastic resource as well. There are quite a few people who generously offer their time to help each other.
Very bad customer support - 13 days wasted - 2 months management team don't reply.
The software is under active development and the help files, documentation and forum are very helpful. The support staff are very helpful and the forum usually has the answer to any questions.
Updates can be a pain if you have a large number of plugins and they are not being updated by their authors.
Nichole F.: My name is Nichole. I'm the owner and operator of My 3 Daughters, LLC. It's a cleaning and home service company. And I give Jobber a five-star review. I was using Google Workspace and FieldPulse. It just weren't integrating as well for my day-to-day process as I would like. I chose Jobber because I liked all the additional bonuses it has. I like the photographs. I like the designated phone number. I like that I can chat back and forth in the app with the customers through text message or a phone call. I like that I can let my employees see what I want them to see. I don't have to give them all the information. There's so many things that I like actually. There's not one thing that I dislike about the app. I like that there has the GPS location for when they clock in and out. And I like that the clients can also, as well, see that my employees are at the place of work at when they say they are. It was very easy to onboard Jobber. There is a import and export feature, which made it very simple. Pretty much just click the button, and everything is there. I recommend starting out with the Core plan because you can always downgrade if you don't need any of the features, but it's nice to see what it actually can do from the start. I started off a little lower, and then worked my way up, and I regret it. The Core plan has a lot of really good, cool features that you don't really want to miss out on.
Steve: Hi, my name is Steve. I'm a Web Developer. My review for WHMCS is four out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. So before I had WHMCS, I was relying on WooCommerce subscriptions to sell web hosting plans that even allow me to automatically deploy the web hosting plans to my customers. Since WHMCS has been used by me, I've been able to automatically deploy web hosting plans once the customer has paid. And this has freed up a lot of time for me. I chose WHMCS because it relates very closely to WHM, which is web hosting manager. I've used WHM in many of my web hosting reseller accounts over the last 20 years. So the step up from WHM and cPanel to WHMCS was not a big step. Although it's not the simplest piece of software, you can get your head around it after a couple of weeks. So, there was not a big jump in trust. I already trusted the proponents of WHM and cPanel, and WHMCS was a no-brainer for me. WHMCS is pretty easy to get set up. You just need to connect to your domain registrar wholesale system. They have some templates available that you can use to connect to your wholesaler of choice. Then you need to connect up your payment gateway. I use Eway, but you can use PayPal. PayPal is really simple to set up. And then you need to add your plans, for either your web hosting plans or your domain name prices. And that's pretty simple to set up, as well. So the whole thing was pretty easy to get going. Yeah, I do recommend WHMCS for simple-to-medium complexity web hosting and domain name setups. The only reservation I have is that there's no bulk domain name price update feature. Meaning, you can't import a CSV file of new domain prices to update your domain prices in WHMCS. And that's a real pain if you offer all the domain extensions, which total, maybe, 250 domain extensions. So if your domain wholesaler updates a batch of their domain names, say 50 domain name prices go up by a couple of bucks, then you're going to have to make 50 changes in WHMCS. Rather than having what would be a really good feature, to just bulk update using a CSV. So that's my one and only complaint about WHMCS.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
