Their dedicated project managers, implementation staff and trainers provide concierge level service any time I have contacted them. They care about my business and want us to be successful.
There have been a few small issues that I do not know if it is user error or the program (prob user error). Sometimes it will be slow, but that may be our internet, I just don't know.
These guys are a growing company and are growing because of amazing support and customer service. Great product and they are eager to make it better all the time.
Implementing bug fixes seems to take a while, which can be frustrating.
They offer lots of ideas on how to manage things and listen to our ideas on software enhancements. We had a very positive and successful onboarding experience.
Lack of comprehensive user manual/ documentation is frustrating.
The new UI in v4.0 is great. Streamlined appearance, flow seems to be better and more intuitive.
There is no beta testing . . . the end users do the testing.
Easy to learn/teach, very user friendly. The online storefront option is great, we love the fact it can be used so that customers can order online but also serves as a perfect online catalog.
But here is real bummer. There is no online rental store that I can set up.
I like how easy it is to customize different things like the invoice and the service agreement i created. I also really love how easy it is to track order status and update the assets.
The mobile version is terrible and the new design was glitchy for a while...most issues worked out already.
It's excellent, and I think is a perfect system for the construction industry.
No custom mapping when importing to QBs. Items being imported into QBs adds the ID number before the name of the item.
The dashboard is a nice overview of all of our activity. The email reminders are a time saver - reminding the client that the rental is ending and asking if they want to extend.
I came in a company that was struggling with inventory.
Willem K.: Hi, I'm Willem. I work as a camera equipment rental manager in the film equipment rental industry, and I think EZRentOut is an easy five out of five. Before we used EZRentOut we were tracking all of our gear, purchases, assets and just scheduling all through spreadsheets, through Airtable and then doing payments through QuickBooks, and then physically doing our own sticker system. So we had three separate systems tracking the same gear, and it was just, I found myself double entering. Every time someone would come in to rent something, I'd have to make sure it's available and manually scroll through all the reservations. And then if it was available, then I'd have to go into a different program, QuickBooks, and actually submit the invoices. It was a pain hunting down people, getting people to pay things. The payments weren't always synced up with the asset management tracking. The scheduling was running a completely different software. We were just all over the place. We chose to use EZRentOut because it combined scheduling, payments and asset management, all in one place so that we didn't have to bounce around between different programs to run our company. It all funneled into one easy to use place. Onboarding into EZRentOut was actually a breeze. They gave us a two week trial to test it, see how things would go. And it was actually really simple to be able to export out the CSV file of listing all of our assets, ingest them into EZRentOut, and then immediately start doing rentals, payments, all within a few days. If you're considering using EZRentOut, I highly recommend using their trial period, but also communicating with them. EZRentOut does act. Their support is incredible. We've requested features. We've talked through bugs and it's very much a back and forth. They're actively monitoring their emails and their support system. So we're able to make recommendations based on our business on things that we'd want to see in EZRentOut and it's made it an incredibly powerful tool. So use the trial, upload your assets, and then just give it a try. And it's worth your time.
