PlanningPME is a great scheduling tool for any size company. Our company used both the client version in conjunction with webAccess for our field resources and it is the perfect tool for us.
Some restriction with custom attributs on API.
The uptime on the system is great, we can access it from our mobile phones and any questions we have are answered promptly.
This has only changed recently and means I am forced to click on the "today" button every time. The 1st column should always be today.
This is particularly helpful as a lot of our projects are planned well in advance. I also like that we can have colour codes for different resource groups and different tasks.
I really like the quarterly view, which lets me look at 13 weeks of planning. I also like that we can scroll forward in time very easily.
It has a beautiful and light design, it is fast and I love the (free) possibility of connection with zoom.
The biggest inconvenience was setting up my work hours after the initial setup. The flow for finding what you need feels disjointed and you can get lost when trying to find the setting you need.
I love how easy it was and how quickly you can start scheduling meetings. I also love how you can customize your name/link specific to you.
The app tends to crash occasionally which can be a pain. The software is Very basic, should consider upgrading its functionality.
It is so clean and attractive and user friendly, and I get compliments on the tool all the time from people I sent my scheduling link to.
It is not built for Outlook 2019, so have been having problems with the desktop plugin.
This platform is amazing. I was recommended it to help me schedule many meetings over a month period and without this platform I could not do what I do.
This makes it confusing for both myself and the person trying to schedule the meeting.
Scott K.: My name is Scott. I am the recruiting manager, and my company is small. It's under 50 people. And I give Calendly a five out of five rating. So before Calendly, we used a manual process where we would send a whole bunch of times that we were available to interview them and they would respond with a whole bunch back. It was awful. Then we just asked when are they available, but because we were located all across the globe, time zones really became a problem. So it was just too much back and forth. I chose Calendly because it made my job super simple. All I would do was integrate it with our applicant tracking system, which is Greenhouse, and I would send that out to the candidates and they would be able to see my calendar. They would pick their spots. And if they had to cancel and reschedule for any reason, they could do it through the Calendly app and I wouldn't even have to get involved. It was seamless. Getting started with Calendly is super simple. I'm not technical and I was able to do it, so that means anyone can, except my parents. But it was easy, and I did it for the entire company. So I was setting up their messaging to go out to the candidates that opened their links. I also tailored them for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes. Sometimes I wanted to speak with a candidate outside of normal hours because we were going to make an offer to them and I didn't care if it interrupted my dinner. So I would send them a different Calendly link that basically had my evening hours available on demand. If you want to save time with rescheduling, use Calendly. It's so easy. And they've also made a lot of improvements over the years and they send a lot of updates of different versions they put out with different features, so they're amazing. I've used it both as a user of it to work with other companies, and I've had my companies that I've worked with in the last few, five years, six years, all sign up for Calendly if they didn't already have it.
