So in short, The customer service is obviously brutal, the payment structure is broken and when you need them most, they are nowhere to be found.
Customer support is excellent. I like how it integrates with your banking account, if you choose to link them, which helps in not having to type in different expenses.
Obviously annoyed I went into the software to cancel the annual subscription so I wouldn't forget this.
I love it because make everything is easy and automatic data recognition is fantastic.
What made the experience exceptionally bad, was that their cancellation procedure easily tricks you to to put the account into a "read-only" mode, instead of deleting it all together.
We were very impressed and highly appreciated that they always listen to what the needs are of the customer.
Now, I wrote them explaining the issue and I get 1 email a week that basically just asks me over and over "what's the issue?" which I cannot BEGIN to explain how annoying that is.
The associates I have interacted with at their "App Support" have all been very professional and nice and as helpful as they can be.
There’s a “break even point” where if you drive too many miles you’ll get paid less than the average federal rate. Sometimes as low as $.30 a mile which is horrible.
Overall, from a user perspective, I like the product. It's easy to use and when I have had questions the customer support is excellent.
There is really nothing that I can think of regarding this software, in a negative light.
I've been using for several years now, great experience and the pros I mentioned above have become better ad more reliable over time.
And those complaints have never been addressed. There are only two possible conclusions here: 1-Motus is incapable of fixing their own app or 2-Motus just doesn't care.
I like the ease of use and that the gps function makes it convenient to track my mileage. I also appreciate the customer service and website efficiency.
The lack of being able to edit start and end times is an issue.
