Companies of all sizes use Dropbox Paper for collaboration, file sharing, online backup, task management, project managemnet, and more.
I love that it allows multiple people to see what we are working on. It's great for a variety of functions like mind mapping, brainstorms, and flow documentation for applications.
I've watched people click and move things in the wrong places, edit the wrong areas, or generally mess up a board. No integration with wider ecosystem eg Microsoft/Google suite of tools.
I love that it is so free hand and real time that it feels as if we were doing this physically. It also results in a good progress being seen throughout and that is is accessible to all anywhere.
Literally the only thing I can think of is that you can't pay for it without a credit card, which is a pain for me.
The templates are also an amazing feature that take the work out of setting up an activity and can even be a good source of inspiration if you're out of interesting meeting ideas.
Some editing options for different tools are limited and it can be a little bit frustrating.
I appreciate Miro's fun and creative features that make collaboration engaging and dynamic, fostering a more visually stimulating work environment.
Sometimes I get lost with the layers or locking content. I feel that this feature could be set differently.
It’s an excellent way to share file in the cloud. It is easy to use and understand, and fits in seamlessly with my other office programs.
I feel I lost some documents that there in here, I was not familiar with how to back it up and so I switched to a different option.
Everything looks beautiful when you write it using Dropbox Paper. It's easy to collaborate between teammates on one document and I love the additional features such as commenting.
My only gripe is that there's not many people I know who use Dropbox Paper. Most are still stuck with Google apps.
The integration with Dropbox makes it a good option for teams and collaboration because it's easy to safely and securely share documents. It's easy to organize, format, and edit documents as well.
I find the product not as intuitive as others of the same type. This can make the initial set up more difficult, especially when a large number of people are going to be part of the same folder.
What I liked the most was the option of easily sharing large pieces of information with coworkers. I also liked that the information would be saved directly on my computer, making it very practical.
Downloading files from cloud taking more duration. Difficult to upload the folder directly to the cloud.
Angelina S.: Hi. I am Angelina of Angelina's Arts and Crafts. I make cards of all occasions and jewelry. My rating here in DC is four by Miro. I was using the Square payment along with PayPal, Google, and Windows. I found the Miro I had to get rid of Square because it became too complicated to keep track of payments, names, numbers, emails, and Miro just made it easier. Got rid of Square, got rid of PayPal business, which was also a headache, and Windows. Miro has made my business so easy, so when I need to get my products out, it's a one, two, three, done. I don't have headaches. Go into my computer, if I sell a item, it's just taken off. I don't have to go in and look at a number, find the item or anything, it's just take it off, it's sold. Thank you. I don't have to stress anymore. Thank you, Miro. Very easy. I mean, follow the directions. If you can read, if you can read, you can do it. Miro is easy. I got my sister and one more friend of mine who has a business and she switched from what she was on to Miro's. If you're in a small business, it's very good to start with Miro's. Don't go to Square and don't go to PayPal business, use Miro.
Rick: Hi, my name is Rick. I'm a photographer, and I give Dropbox Paper four out of five stars. For more reviews like this, click the link below. Before using Dropbox Paper... I'm a freelancer so I get to use all kinds of stuff, depending on what the clients are using. So I've used everything from Google Docs, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Notion, and yeah, everything starts to bleed together after a while. But Dropbox Paper is a neat little app that has a lot of functionality without all the bulk of some of these other products that we've used in the past. So one of the reasons why we started using Dropbox Paper was because it eliminates a lot of the confusion or just the analysis paralysis of other apps that have so many different options and style and design and layouts. Dropbox Paper just simplifies everything and keeps you on task and focusing on the main thing, which is actually getting a project moving. So I really liked that about Dropbox Paper. Dropbox Paper is actually super easy to get going with. It looks like a regular Word or Google Document, but there's so much under the hood once you get into it a little bit more. Just the markdown, being able to use shortcut keys and never leave the keyboard, to make everything from bulleted lists and checklist to-dos, to be able to comment with other users and collaborators, it's actually really, really easy to get started. And once you start using it a little bit more, it only gets easier from there. I definitely would recommend to anybody that's already a Dropbox user to give Paper a shot. It's actually really, really robust, but just a more simmered down version of what you may already be used to. It's really great for collaboration. It's really great jam board for you and your team to communicate, especially if you're remote. It just works really, really well. It does what it does well, and you don't have to worry about very complex and difficult setups. It just is ready to go out of the box, if you will.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
