Eyefinity EHR is a cloud-based electronic health records software for optometrists, optometric techs, and ophthalmologists.
I have had a fantastic experience with Kareo. The sales team and implementation team have been incredibly responsive and helpful.
Your system will go down in the middle of your clinic and you have no recourse. During a particularly bad couple of days of no and/or unusably slow service, we had no choice but to close our office.
We couldn't be more pleased on performance and ease of use. The highly competitive rate, month to month no contract, and no large upfront costs or maintenance fees are all excellent features as well.
This product is pretty universally know as being terribly in the billing community. You will run into problems and it will interfere with your revenue cycle.
Ease of use, ability to perform certain eligibility checks, scanning capabilities are great, certain reports are easy to generate and understand.
We lost tens and tens of thousands of dollars to incompetence and mistakes. Collections were so bad it nearly cost us our practice.
Having all of our reports curated all in one software is so functional and easy. We love being able to save documents straight to the patient file.
Basically, the EHR is a poorly thought out and is missing basic functionality. The whole system is clunky and you and your staff will waste countless hours trying to create work arounds.
This EHR system has a lot of great features and the customer service and support are great. Definitely better interface than our old EHR system and notes are organized in a way that's easy to review.
Product is incomplete and does not offer basic features expected in a practice management program...i.e. It does not calculate receipts so there is no way to track your gross net income over time.
Great support when we switched over from Exam Writer and continued support to this day after years of use. I absolutely love how intuitive the iPad is making it easy for new staff to learn.
The practice management software is the worse I have ever dealt with by leaps and bounds. One month later and it isn't communicating with it's insurance sister VSP.
The ability to import prescription medications from the patient's pharmacy is a great timesaver and enhances accuracy.
Can not see previous cd or iop when you are entering current data, have to back out two screens then go back in (terrible for glaucoma or medical patients).
For a medically oriented practice like ours I love the high levels of documentation possible. Routine or wellness eye exams are very quick and efficient.
EHR is tolerable, PManagment makes you want to kill yourself.
Camille B.: My name is Camille. I'm an office manager for BE MED PT, and I rate Tebra a four. So we were using OptimisPT before, but we weren't able to bill our claims even weekly, sometimes it was monthly. So we were getting really behind on our claims and money coming in, so we wanted to have a system that included billing as well. That's why we switched over to Tebra. We chose Tebra because it has a lot of different services that we could use it for, such as physical therapy, primary care. We love that we were able to create our own templates, and that was for every professional that is in our company. We also liked that it's very organized. It has the tabs in the patient profile, so it helped with the organization that we needed. The transition for me as office manager was actually very easy in the sense of having organization, just having to teach the front desk and the employees that do the most easy steps. Everybody got it very easily. Then the physical therapist was a little bit harder, but it was still very comfortable because they could create their own templates. It was just when we had to create the templates, it was a little bit hard in that part, but everything else was a smooth transition. I would advise to go ahead and do the switch, just because it is a very smooth program. You don't need a lot of common sense to utilize it. It does give you benefits of organization and having it your own way in the sense of doing your own templates, and then there's so many settings that you can use for the system where you can make it your own for you and your company.
