So it is an easy database where I can look up media contacts, and also find out how they like to be reached. A lot of times that information isn't public. So I can scour the internet and I won't be able to find their email or their phone number. What I like most about Cision is that there are so many different functionalities. You can do easy media context searches, you can build media lists, and you can even find social media influencers. So these are things that you wouldn't otherwise be able to find just through a Google search. With Cision, because there are so many functionalities, it can be very daunting. The good news is they have a great training tool and a platform where you can learn about all its levels of functionality. It can be very complex and there are lots of layers.
