This web-based system is not, as the name might suggest, actually open source. No Invoice, No Reporting.
It is pretty easy to setup accounts and for employees to clock in and out. The free version has unlimited managers and employees to add, which is great.

I love that I can track lots of tasks/projects. I like that I can add it to my toolbar for easy access, and the ability to create reports for time spent on each task.
Inability to place timetracker location on desktop screen (It could have been user error).
We can easily gain control of the remote team of what they are actually doing with the in detailed reporting like screenshots, keyboard presses, mouse clicks etc. Very good and organized.
Randomly stopped working where there was no activity on the PC(people walk off their PC but still work on the current task). Or we start a application we develop and it stops counting.

Before we changed over to Open Time Clock, we were using the old paper system, where CSRs would send us their hours when they got here, and send them to us when we got back. And not only was that cumbersome and time consuming, but it allowed for a lot of error. And I'm sure a lot of overpay that happened. We chose to switch over to Open Time Clock, because it's super easy to use. It's very economical. And the reporting is incredible. Open Time Clock was very easy to begin with. All we had to do is enter in all of our customer reps, names and emails, and pay rate, and it does rest. We can set up PTO in there, holiday pay. That took just a little bit of learning, but not a big learning curve. Probably maybe an hour, or two hours, to get it up and running. If you're considering changing your time clock, or time tracking application, and are looking for a very cost effective, easy product to use, I highly recommend checking out Open Time Clock. It is truly the most economical product out there, that will make your life so much easier.
