LearnUpon works with global organizations who want to make learning a central part of their growth strategy and supports over 1,500 customers worldwide including Zendesk and Gusto.
Unlike other e-learning providers, we focus specifically on the hospitality industry. We work with restaurant and hotel chains ranging in size from one unit to thousands of units.
The reliability of this LMS, the ease of its use and navigation, as well as the fact that I almost never get calls from my clients with "systems issues", makes this an absolutely outstanding product.
Whenever I submitted a trouble ticket I usually had a response the same day. The people at LearnUpon made our transition to their LMS problem free.
There appears to be a genuine desire to provide the best software and have the happiest group of clients on the planet, which speaks volumes as to the culture at LearnUpon.
One frustrating thing with any LMS is integration with authored content (e.g. storyline).
There are so many awesome features on this program and now that we are able to access it on our phones (via app) it is awesome.
It is hard to diagnose if this is from our end or LU. I have noticed a few issues where users are enrolled in learning paths or courses and their dashboard will not display the content.
The customer service is absolutely outstanding. From the very first call and email, their staff was friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and you can tell they believe in the product.
No real dislikes about the software, we use it in an unconventional way in that it is for corporate training and employee compliance.
Easy of use, simple to understand, good graphics...often it's even FUN. Enjoy the reinforcement "Gamification" sounds and graphics applied.
Additionally, some of the courses are very glitchy and creates user frustration/ having to go back and repeat things. The less obstacles, the more buy in from the team.
Not only will they answer your inquiries in a VERY timely manner, but will go out of their way to take suggestions from the field on how to improve this already outstanding product.
Millennials think it's from the stone age. Server connectivity fails and credit for completion gets lost.
Intuitive to use, and has appropriate flexibility to accommodate the needs of our franchise community. The responsiveness and support for questions and ideation is outstanding.
Sometimes the modules can stall out and take too long to load up in a browser but with the transition to HTML5 this has happened far less frequently.
They had great suggestions on what content types would work best for each lesson, which resulted in a really fun and interactive finished learning program.
Lots of issues with stalling, freezing, and not giving credit for completed (or mostly completed) items.
Coleen S: Hi, my name's Coleen. I'm the Executive Director of Youth Connections and I give LearnUpon a five out of five. We looked at the Microsoft program, but that would not work because of the people that we work with don't have access to that. We work with a lot of rural communities and also tribal prevention specialists, and so that application would not work for us. We chose LearnUpon based on what we were able to do with it. We're looking at expanding to provide this training nationwide, and our sales rep was amazing at explaining everything and it's been really easy to use and we're really glad we went this route. The setup was amazing. We had a dedicated person, Gray, who was awesome and met with us, I think weekly, to get everything set up. She was always there to answer questions. We basically set up the whole system and then she helped walk us through how to develop all of the training modules, which was very helpful. And now we've been transferred over to our customer service rep and she's been great too, and everybody has been so responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend LearnUpon. It has been really easy to implement. The support has been amazing. It's very intuitive, it's easy to use. I've got six staff building modules, so it's not like someone has to be really tech-savvy to do it. Very easy to use, easy to get our learners set up on, and it is worked really well for us.
