I do like how functional it is compared to some of the other programs I have used, user friendly once you learn the program and has great customer service if you ever need help.
Poor, customer service was the worst. It wasn’t until I finally called and said I was leaving that they attempted to fix anything.
I do enjoy some features, like how you can easily access the invoicing from more than one place, making notes are easy, editing is easy, and understanding the schedule/scheduling is VERY easy.
We had expected less problems and headaches with evet than with Avimark, but have been disappointed. There really isn't that much difference.
Overall, I am very pleased with eVet Practice. I feel that it is very user-friendly and your customer service is awesome.
I dislike scheduling and having to select times manually. I dislike how checking out clients is Multiple step process.
Software is straight forward and simple to use. The user interface is excellent and the features make it some of the best veterinary software I have used in 20+ years.
About 15 minutes later, there was a warning message popping up.
We love the text feature. This has been a great thing added to be able to reach clients for brief updates and share info in a quick efficient manner.
We have liked the reminder calls and emails for scheduled appointments but inadequate customer service and lack of full functionality for a product we pay full price for is frustrating.
The text function is a great asset and we use it daily. Text reminders and the option to send messages for lab results has been very helpful.
It works poorly and is confusing. We don't tell any clients to use it.
Love Rapport, it's easy to use and if I have questions the service team is always friendly.
The thing i disliked about Rapport was that It was limited amount of space on the screen so things just looked very squished together.
Best thing is not having to call to confirm every appointment.
Having to log in to another website is a minor inconvenience.
Speaker 1: My name is Michael, and I'm the owner of our veterinary hospital. I give eVetPractice four out of five stars. Click below for more reviews. For eVetPractice, we were using AvaMark, which we found to be antiquated. We also wanted the ability to have a cloud based system, and that's why we chose eVetPractice. Several factors that went into our choice of picking eVetPractice. Number one is we were looking for a software that was cloud based, and we also liked how user friendly it was. It was very intuitive. We were able to set our team members, that had never used an online software before, in front of the eVetPractice, and very quickly they were able to figure it out. So, it was very user friendly. Another reason that we liked it is that it was very customizable for our practice and the way that we wanted to set things up. We also liked the templates that were available, so it saved our doctors a lot of time when they were taking notes. Those are the main reasons that we chose eVetPractice. Getting started with eVetPractice was extremely easy. There were a lot of online modules, training modules that we had, myself and the other person on our implementation team, we watched ahead of time. We met with our onboarding coach as well, so we felt very prepared the day that we rolled it out. We also required all of the people on our team to watch some of those training modules as well. There were plenty of resources available and the best feature was the online chat. So, anytime we ran into a problem, we just used that online chat feature and were able to get quick resolution. For anyone that's considering eVetPractice or any online practice management software, I would make a list of the things that are most important to you and your practice, and then just compare the software to your list. One of the things that I find eVetPractice is maybe a little lacking in is the reporting features for the business side of things. So, that's something that if that was really, really important to you, you may find that it doesn't meet every need that you have. But, if user friendliness and customization is really important, you're going to see eVetPractice move right to the top. So, for any advice is just to call your vendor and ask them for an account where you can test drive it. We were able to get time in before we made our choice, just to click around and play, just to see if we liked it or not. I would highly recommend that you do that as well.
