Odoo open source software exists to help everyone, from people who just need a blog to big companies that need a full ERP. The software is flexible and can be adapted to SMEs or large corporations.
This therefore exceeds customer expectations which is always good to do. We have been with Showcase now for a number of years and have enjoyed their ability to improve and add new features.
I think that some of the features should be upgraded. For example, there is no "drag and drop" feature on the folders section.
The front end can be used offline which is awesome for our reps on the road. Also it is endlessly customisable and super easy to use from the back end, as well as looking impressive from the front.
Initially, we had problems grouping the different pages in showcase. We are able to do this now.
I find Showcase super easy to use and a great way to give our clients and potential clients an easy way of updating themselves on our products.
Missing feature: For localised content we had to duplicate the presentation many times just to change the content for one link - it would be handy if there was another way to do this.
While there are many features that I have found useful, one of the most utilised is observing the slides that are attracting the most interest.
There is no page identification in the showcase, this will assist with tags.
Your use facility is amazing and the best of all: is free. Odoo has OCA Community that help the user in several questions.
Second thing is when there is any error in py file sometimes it fails to give exact error.
The user experience and localisation of accounting helps to keep the business running seamlessly. They give free app with enterprise version and that’s amazing.
Partner! partners! partners. No business experience, very young developers with no experience, alot of customization that make odoo worthless afterwards, alot of mony to implement and customize.
Its brilliant, having experience with few ERPs in my 20 year career i found Odoo is the best.
The time it took me to learn how to use it and to training my teams but I feel it would be the same with other companies or even worse.
Great system if you are looking for all in one CRM, accounting, and inventory system. Website building off of Odoo is super easy and has great features to implement for your customer.

Charles: Hi, my name is Charles. I'm a mental performance consultant. I've been using Odoo for my personal business and I give it a rank of four out of five. Before using Odoo, I wasn't really using anything, which meant that a lot of responsibilities and task fell on my desk. So I started using Odoo to kind of schedule everything out, make sure I organize everything, work on billing, work on implementing an e-commerce, and also just learning to manage project between the different people that we had collaborating with us. I decided to choose Odoo because I needed a system that was a bit more precise and concise to work with the different people that we had, with the different schools and the different projects. And at the same time, I wanted to use the same platform that was going to allow me to work on billing and invoices without using another software in order to complete that task. So implementing Odoo was fairly simple. Obviously it's a new software which always takes time. But the person that helped me set it up made sure that things were running smoothly and that we didn't really have any issues. The big plus of Odoo was the easy customer service and the fact that the app was very user-friendly for myself, but also the people that was also on board using the platform. The main advice I have for anyone who wants to use Odoo in their business, if you're looking to save time and really you having multiple things to do all the time, Odoo will just help you facilitate those roles and understanding, facilitating and delegating all that work that falls down on your lap, that was a big different changer for me. The biggest thing was just accepting that the business was growing and that I needed help to make sure that every single files were completed on time, which is the main reason and the main advice that I tell you on why you should use Odoo.
