As I have a small practice on top of my full time job, it's nice to not be paying more money than I am bringing in. The fact that it's scalable is the most important factor for me.
In less than a week, we have had the WORST customer service experience of my life. First, we were charged incorrectly on our first bill.
It's easy to use, easy to train others, has great support and educational resources about its many features, and most important, we are getting a great reliable, great program for an affordable rate.
However, the lack of response from TheraNest and their inability to solve this issue over the last six months is unbelievable.
It looks great, the implementation of Wiley planner is fantastic, and it gets the job done. The color scheme is nice (it looks pretty).
They often do rate increases after rolling out a new change, which is often frustrating when the change means the software stops working the way it has.
I love the ease and flexibility of Theranest and how it seems to think of everything. I especially appreciate Telehealth, Client Portal, and Appointment Reminders.
It's been a little confusing as a supervisor and administrator for my employees to be able to see what notes they have completed and what is yet to be done.
I like the ease of use and the way the schedule is set up to be very simple and appealing. It is an excellent product.
I HATE that I can't use the app - not even to see my current planned work shifts plan when I am offline. You HAVE to be online (4g or WiFi) to use it.
The UI and functions for schedule maintenance are easy to use and looks clean. The ability manage the schedule and customize without the need for help desk has improved.
Sometimes the software is difficult to use on an iPhone and I have had a couple problems switching shifts.
Layout, accesibility, ability to transfer tasks to other colleagues with ease. I also appreciate having access to all of my colleagues' contact information in order to facilitate communication.
Unsure if able to push shifts to mobile device (e.g. google calendar). On screen guides are a pain and difficult to get rid of (e.g. guides show up all the time, not just once).
I like the phone app, it is reliable and easy to view. I have found trading shifts and accepting requests for trades to be an easy process.
Otherwise i have to click on each individual to see if they are free - incredibly painful. I usually end up getting our Petal manager/scheduler to make the changes because it is otherwise so hard.
Kelly: Hi, my name's Kelly. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. I would give TheraNest a three out of five stars. And for more reviews like this, just click below. I had been using Office Ally, but I didn't think it was a complete solution for me, and TheraNest seemed like it would be a good fit, so I gave that one a try. I chose TheraNest because it seemed like it had the complete package of what I needed. I wanted to do online telehealth and I needed help with billing. It had credit card processing, so it had everything that I wanted. TheraNest was pretty easy to onboard with. Took my clients a little while to train to get them to learn how to schedule online. But other than that, integration was pretty easy. TheraNest is a pretty decent choice when you're first starting out. I found that in the long run, it didn't work for my practice and switching from TheraNest to anybody else, I felt like I'm being held hostage because trying to get my client records was okay, but getting any of my notes or anything else, I'm going to have to either print them all out or hand write them or retype them and they want you to pay a fee to store your client's records, and tI just don't find that ethical. You still have to keep your client records for seven years.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
