I used this app while searching for jobs to get an idea of what was available and it was a great tool. Had good descriptions of jobs and easy links to connect you with the departments to apply.
The user interface can be overwhelming and make it difficult to use. The automated communications sent to applicants can often get lost in spam folders.
And it notifies me as soon as it has something that is best for me it matches me with the perfect jobs and close to home too.
As a small local business struggling with COVID related issues this is disgusting. I will NEVER use zip recruiter again and have blocked them from the company credit card.

Piss poor applicants for out position. They were sending resumes of people with graduate degrees in other states for a receptionist position.
The "1-Tap Apply" button is an awesome feature which makes the application process super easy. I found my last job using ZipRecruiter and I continue to use it and recommend it to others.
The "free trial" was such a dismal defeat and the other sites we used (Indeed particularly), that Zip basically was forgotten about on their own.

Not everyone has a LinkedIn account and not everyone are aware of you can find a job using LinkedIn Jobs. Also, there are some fake accounts and spammers.
It's easy to use and like other social media like Facebook. But this platform is reliable and trustworthy for professionals like me and increase my horizon regarding my academic field.
The only negative to this was I am connected to other co-workers on LinkedIn so i was worried they could tell I was search for a new job.
I like that the software is user friendly. It is easy to add in search criteria and find what opportunities you are looking for or to find someone looking for the type of opportunity you have open.
People send scams and message offers that are basically fake. Also, searching for jobs can lead your down a rabbit hole and they only show 1 job description at a time.
LinkedIn Jobs is a great tool if you are looking for hiring top talent. The granularity of the search conditions and options to search for that candidate are simply awesome.
I get spam messages sometimes which is annoying. There are not many people who use LinkedIn for their professional networking.

I would advise them to keep an eye out on the emails because you can get a lot of emails.

So we made the transition to LinkedIn Jobs where the network and connections that you could do on the platform were huge in finding something that worked for us with LinkedIn Jobs. And also because there were a lot of job posting every single day compared to other software, which made us obviously a bit more attracted to LinkedIn Jobs compared to any others. Plus LinkedIn Jobs is very user-friendly, and it's something that you can have on the go all the time. LinkedIn Jobs was very easy to get started, to get it done on our computer, on our phone, something that we really enjoyed, also, to look either for a job for someone. Also to post for a job, it was very, very easy, as simple as running down an email to be honest. My piece of advice with LinkedIn Jobs is make sure you're totally committed when you decide to go and use this software because things can move really fast. So if you're not ready, if you're not willing to get a job or to look into maybe finding someone for a specific position, don't waste anyone's time. So make sure that you're really committed and ready to go once you use LinkedIn Jobs.
