Travitor vs KodeKloud: Which is a better fit?

Michael L.: Hi, my name is Michael. I work in the finance industry and I am a Training Manager. I give Travitor a four out of five. Prior to choosing Travitor, we went with an offering from CUNA Mutual, which makes a learning management system that's specific to credit unions. And we wanted to get away with... Just some of the software was clunky to use and wasn't easy to use. So as we started to canvas different products to use, one of the ones that we were looking at was Adobe's. And we would have liked it, but ultimately didn't go with it because some of the interface was not what we desired and we couldn't use it on the wide variety of tablets that we needed to in order to be successful. The reason we chose Travitor was, when it comes to e-learning software and using e-learning software, it's really imperative that what you're using is easy. Otherwise the end user isn't going to want to use it. They're not going to want to engage and learning is going to become a chore. And one of the great things about Travitor is that, when you want to access a course, it's one, maybe two clicks to get to it. It's maybe one or two clicks to open the course, and then you're able to use it. And that ease of use almost entices our learners to want to take these courses because they know that it's not going to be a chore and they can get right into them. On the flip of that, our own pre-made content loaded, whether it's a video, whether it's a SCORM file or just a simple quiz, it literally takes maybe two to three minutes to upload everything, get everything set up and someone could be taking the course right away. So the ease of use and the modern look and the design style made kind of a no brainer to switch to Travitor. Travitor is web based. So getting everything set up is actually pretty much a breeze. It just involved having a list of our employees, in a CSV file with their titles, positions and some corporate information, uploading that right in, and everyone was pretty much set up within four or five minutes. And then from there, it was just a matter of uploading our own content, which again is very easy to do, click upload, type a description, sign people up, maybe create a quiz and you're done. And one of the nice things with Travitor is it also includes its own content. So from the get-go, we had hundreds of courses in addition to the hundreds that we uploaded to choose from. So it was really a matter of days to get set up and get everything functioning and not the usual weeks turnaround to set everything up. To someone that is considering choosing Travitor for their LMS, I would consider what types of files you're uploading. If you're primarily SCORM based, it's going to be a breeze. If you're uploading video content or looking to create video that has quizzes that pops up in between different sections of the video, Travitor will meet your needs. If you want software that makes it easy to do quizzes, Travitor is excellent. One of the things that I would discuss, especially with looking at any LMS is your reporting needs. The one weakness I feel Travitor, has is sometimes getting the reporting that I'd like is a little more clunky than I'd like. I'd like to just point get the report and be good to go. And with Travitor sometimes, at least right now in its current version, it's a little more hands-on to spark to get the data out that you really want to use. So I'd really take a look at the data needs you have, and maybe have that conversation with Travitor to see if there's anything that we can do, or that they can do for you to make that work. Otherwise, as with anything, vet all of the software that you want to use, see what your needs are, compare their features. But I'd really be surprised if you found another LMS that is as feature rich for the price that Travitor actually offers.
