Paycom's single-application software helps companies automate and streamline payroll and HR processes, simplifying the employee life cycle.
Cafes, restaurants, retailers, health care, security, hospitality, education facilities and any other business with hourly employees.
The fact that our "hire to fire" process is completely seamless in Paycom is a huge win. My dedicated specialist is there with me every step of the way from small questions to big issues.
Some of my staff have complained about the software not working correctly when downloaded as an application on their phones.
Paycom has been super easy to use in the few months since starting with it. I love that it has an easy to use app and login.
Outdated and clunky, unintuitive. And the worst thing is the account management.
The Implementation Specialist at all employers were knowledgeable, professional, courteous, attentive to the employer needs, accessible, and caring spirit.
I dislike that it has almost to many options of things to do.
The ease of time/payroll management for our internal employees, contract employees and clients are primary benefits to our team. Annual benefits enrollment is a huge plus as well.
I have been waiting 2 months for them to fix a mistake they made on my W2. I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to fix.
Ease of use, ease of setup, setup is organized and clear, love that it notifies my staff when I publish a schedule and is integrated with phone platforms/has an app.
It is ridiculously glitchy. I don't know how many schedules have been messed up because it will incorrectly mark blocked out days after refreshing which causes confusion and more work later on.
The ease of setting up different schedules is great and all my employees were able to quickly set up their profiles and were able to use the app with ease.
You can't use OpenSimSim on your phone, which is really too bad.
Overall it has been a good experience, I say that because my best friend is a software engineer and I know it takes time to work out the bugs in any application or program.
The thing that I struggle with the most with the app is adjusting my schedule for multiple days.
The transition over to Opensimsim was seamless. The best part has been watching the platform evolve and improve.
Inputting availabilities are a pain has you can only select day by day and I would prefer having a my availability weekly spread to check I have inputted the information correctly.
Dejiana R.: Hi, my name is Dejiana. I'm the CEO of BBO LLC. I have about 10 people in my camp. And the rating I would give for Paycom is a four. I use Paycom to make sure that all my employees know what time they need to come in, clock out. I can send them little messages through the app so the whole camp will get the messages. It keeps me pretty organized with everybody because I'm not good on paper. I'm better on the phone. So, Paycom helps me with at least the live app so that everybody knows what we're doing at what time. I like that it's easy for my employees to use. They can personalize it with their name, number, and the picture because we're like a fun camp, so we got to make sure that everybody can be uniquely themselves. It gives you that personal effect while it's still being an employee app, so I like it. Well, the only thing that I would say I might dislike is it was hard for me to set it up by myself. So I had to have a couple of my employees help me because, like I said, I'm not a technology person. I just know how to text real fast. So, I would say the setup is not for a beginner, but it's not too hard if you have somebody that knows what they're doing.
