I use Deskero daily and I can say that it's the best solution for your help desk. The team that it's following the project is made up of young people that love to keep in touch with their customers.

The only con we've faced was the lack of a database interface with our BI tools. It has some reporting tools embedded and allows for data download but has to be done manually.
