Ideal for small businesses and accountants, Plooto is the fastest way to manage business payments - saving you hours on your accounts payable and receivable processes like credit card payments.
The interface is clean and easy to use, plus it has a lot of features that make it worth the price. I love that they have integrations with so many other platforms, like Slack or Zapier.
Obviously no one is testing or maintaining the code. It's half baked, buggy and the user interface is bad.
It's great for recurring subscriptions and provides the best customer service experience. Chargebee is the best billing and recurring tool I've ever used.
Transitioning some of the data from the playground environment to the live environment was a bit confusing.
It's really easy to use and handles everything for you + it has great documentation for developers and I havem't encoutered any kind of bug which is truly amazing. Chargebee is basically perfect.
Since Chargebee is a new company, there are a few rough spots, for example, when using their hosted payment pages, any payment errors are generic.
Their customer service is awesome and provides great help. However, because it is easy to use, I have not had to use their help more than once.
Things started to go wrong when we try to use a more advanced implementation using their API. Integration with Hubspot was a mess, but we manage to fix that.
My experience has been very good. Been very happy with product in the past few years that I have been using it for my clients.
The warnings should be more visible. It takes longer than Telpay to deposit into account.
Their customer service was good too. Overall Plooto is an awesome addition to my business and one that I wish I had implemented YEARS ago.
The problem that arises is that we as a small organization end up paying for two software because some of our vendors pay by credit card so we are spending more money on Plooto.
The accounts payable functionality and clear audit trail have been fantastic. It is a useful software for our firm and our clients have definitely benefited from the implementation.
So far negative but hopeful I can figure it out. I'm frustrated to have had to pay $25 per month and still haven't figured out if this is going to work for my business or not.
The best features of Plooto include the ability to send contactless payments to vendors at anytime in (almost) any amount. We love the approval control, the user friendly interface, and the price.
The pricing change is too bad given our corporate structure.
Colette: Hi, my name's Colette. I am owner and director of Calgary Piano Expressions. That is a mobile piano studio here in the city of Calgary, and my rating for Plooto is five out of five. We considered using bank-based pre-authorized debit systems for our customers. We also considered using Wave, which would have allowed us some bank transfers, some credit card use, but ultimately we chose to go with Plooto. We chose Plooto because it gave us the most flexibility for editing payments, even those part of a pre-authorized debit agreement. And since the families who are part of our studio are so busy, lots of them have multiple children, we needed a program that would make it hands-off for the customer. And so once the family sets up their information, everything else we take care of and the customer doesn't have to do anything else. We really enjoy using Plooto. It was quite easy to get the program set up. When we started, there was a little bit of a delay getting payments to our employees just because the first time you ever send money to someone, it takes a few more days, but then after that, even one month later, now the payments were taking only one day to get to the employee. So that's pretty fast. And we really liked that feature about Plooto. It was quite easy to set up in the beginning, so we would send a link to each customer to input their financial information, and then after the setup process was done, sometimes it takes a reminder or two to the family to put their information in, but once it's done, it's done, and then it's easy to use from that point forward. My recommendation is do it. My children's preschool, my children's activities, sometimes they're still asking for monthly E-transfers from customers, and I just see this as being so admin heavy. They must have to chase people to get payments every month, but with Plooto it's very automatic. The only time I need to put some work in is in the case of an NSF, or if someone has changed their credit card information and they need to update it. That's the only time when I really need to go in and do some legwork. With how our business is run, I do have to set up the customer's payments manually every spring for the coming school year, but outside of that, it's very easy to use.
