The account manager we were forced to deal with after the first 2 years was terrible. Doesnt listen to problems, only pushes features we cant use.
The software has great features, I like the MC options and for us to allow multiple skill sets we would like to add to the test. It is a very easy platform to navigate through.
It is not easy to find a way to create new questions. Candidates seems confused with the time limit while doing the test making many to fails for lack of time management.
The Software has been great, the reporting after completion of an assessment is what has been most beneficial to our users. Details, details, details on how they did and where they need to improve.
Now we dont even bother asking. We have to manually mark the tests and the manually marking reveals on average 5% errors in the software marking.
Helpful, thoughtful, strategic, fast to answer requests and provide solutions have allowed our team to benefit greatly from the product and partnership.
The software (programming) tests were full of mistakes, and very hard to understand. At one point we tested 35 job candidates and all of them scored between 10 and 12 out of 40 on their exam.
Also it provided good candidate experience and demonstrated that we are serious about hiring top quality candidates. It has been quite easy to setup and has become an integral part of our recruiting.

It was super easy to use, building the assessments was intuitive, and I liked the fact I could add my logo and brand colors, and the assessment looked like it came from our company.

TestGorilla was super easy to set up and there are so many really good and comprehensive tests available to choose from for the roles we were looking to fill (mainly marketing related).
Their customer service provides only template responses and no solutions. We keep getting charged for it even though we have stated clearly that we want to cancel our account.
The product is pretty useful for the purpose we use it for - mostly in the recruitment process. Integration to our process was easy enough, which is a great plus.

It was a very affordable product and had an expansive range of tests that I could send candidates and it fit my needs. I chose to use TestGorilla because it's extremely affordable, it's easy to use, it's simple to send to applicants, and the applicant results are sent to myself and the hiring manager. They also have a huge variety of tests and that includes a disc assessment, which helps us understand a potential candidate's preferred method of communication style, which is extremely helpful for us to help make our decision. TestGorilla is very easy to get started with. It's simple to use. They have a customer support team that can help you through setting up your first assessment, but it's so simple to use. I've never had to reach out to them for that type of help. I would recommend anyone looking at TestGorilla to look at their test book of available tests that you can send to applicants and see if it matches what you are looking to test applicants for. That was the really big decision making component for us.
