They have a great sales team which will convince you that they have amazing customer support, an innovative platform and can meet all of your business's needs.
It's such a shame as they have thought of everything but it's not no where near ready yet and if you get your clients onto the software and the app your going to make yourself look incompetent.
We were super excited when we found this software, and thought it could do everything we needed.
Also, their pay service integration sucks. It is very difficult to use them for bookkeeping and POS and I ended up just resorting to Square.
I like how easy it is for scheduling and the branded app options through the program. There's also the announcements which are helpful.
First of all t’s a pain to learn, it has all these features that instead of doing something right, they are all useless.
I really appreciate the ease of setup. It integrated nicely with our University software for easy syncing of Staff and Students.
When I told them that I was dissapointed that they lied about the software they denied everything.
Amazing app that I use daily with my clients, I love how clean it looks overall and how I can track their progress of weight and different body assessments.
If a customer pays you on the app you lose a percentage I've stopped using this feature and clients pay me direct through bank so charges need to be looked into.
I really like the ease of use when adding clients and having them access there programmes immediately. I also love including demo videos too help them use there programmes.
I dislike that superset is the only grouping option. I do a lot of compound exercises and circuit training.
I love how easy it is for my clients to navigate and use the app. I love that I can put videos up for my clients to use as visuals.
When programming routines the lack of multi add exercise it makes it slow to work with.
I love this app, it is affordable and easy to use. The customer service is fantastic.
Some of the videos cause you to exit the app and open to youtube...it's difficult to try and figure out where you left off after watching the youtube video.
Naomi T.: Hi, I'm Naomi. I am a group fitness instructor in the fitness instruction industry, and I rate Virtuagym a five out of five. Well, I was looking for an app that would benefit myself and my clients in the industry. And I was looking around, I didn't find any other apps in particular, but once I set up an actual session with Virtuagym, I realized they had all of the necessary components that I needed for my program to be successful. So rather than me having to search other places, I was able to start with them and end with them. I chose Virtuagym because when I was looking for an app that I could use with my clients, I wanted it to be able to schedule appointments with them, I wanted to be able to submit and post messages that were inspirational, motivational messages, I wanted for them to have notifications about any of the messages that I was putting out. I wanted to basically build like a community for my fitness program and when I spoke with the representatives of Virtuagym, they hit the nail on the head, it was everything and more that I needed for my program to be successful. Being that I just started the business a couple of months ago, I wanted to hit the ground running and everything that they had within their program was very beneficial for myself and my clients. I could log in and see the activity that my participants were submitting, they can also link their iPhones and as well as their watches, Fitbit's to the app. So any activity that they performed, it sync with the app and they didn't have to manually enter the information. Also, it's almost like a system where the person has their own platform to set up their information with a photo and progress pictures of how they've progressed along the program with me. It also gives them points and badges to reward them for all of their hard work, which is what I wanted for my program, I want it to be something where it was uplifting and motivational for them. The onboarding process was very easy. The way Virtuagym does their setup is that you get five sessions before your app is actually pushed out for participants to sign in, but they allow you the opportunity to go in and kind of maneuver and play with the app, just to see exactly what it's about, but they make sure you have sessions with them logging in to the Zoom session, where they're walking through your app as well as the platform with you, which made it very easy. Because before I had the meeting, I had an opportunity to go in, change my logo, and that was easy to do as well because it wasn't hard, it was just a simple upload. And then once I went in, they logged in on their end on my specific app and we went through the little things I had questions about. So every session, at the end of it they would discuss with me any areas of concern or questions for the next time that we met. And then even when I came up with things in the middle before we met, we would discuss it in the next session. So that was very beneficial to have the five sessions of the onboarding to make sure that the app was working properly and that I had any questions answered. So that way, when I'm working with my clients I knew how to answer any of the questions that they had. So it was very easy in the process. A recommendation that I would have for you, if you were to look into using Virtuagym as your choice of apps for your fitness program, just make sure you know exactly what it is that you want for your app and what you want your clients to be able to get out of the app. They are very good at answering the questions that you have, so in order for them to help you better, you would have to know upfront kind of what it is that you're looking for and what it is that you need guidance with. I know there were a few things where I had questions for them, as long as I had those questions ready and ready to go when we met, it was easy for them to maneuver and help me out. So I would just say, be prepared with playing around with the app beforehand. So that way your questions can be answered easier and quickly.
Channell H.: Hi, I'm Channell, small business owner. I give FitSW a five out of five rating. For more reviews like this, click below. Before FitSW I tried Trainerize, but app didn't quite work for my growing business. I needed demos. I needed direct client contact. It just wasn't quite the level of customization that we were looking for to make sure that we were delivering custom programs, rather than cookie cutter programs to our clients. I chose FitSW because the customer service and the management was extremely responsive. After I started working with FitSW, I realized how amazing they were at delivering to our custom needs. As a newer company, we had a lot in common, and it was really fun to see them growing, and listening to the feedback from their small business customers. For us, it was really important that we could deliver customized value to our clients. We could provide exercise libraries. We could make sure that we were chatting with them in real time, and delivering the inspiration we wanted to. Getting started with FitSW was easy. The customer service was great, and I was able to get walked through all of the products, the features, and the offerings. They have great guides that allow you to figure out what you're doing, and communicate that to your customers. If you're considering using FitSW, I highly recommend that you download a free trial, and reach out. FitSW can connect you with businesses like mine, or you can use their standard version. FitSW does offer custom apps for small businesses, where you can work with their business partners, or you can work with them directly. No matter what you do, make sure that you reach out, send an email, and start a free trial.
