Ilyas A
Accounts Administrator
5.0

Ilyas A.: Hi, my name is Ilyas. I'm an accounts administrator here at Stylus Marketing, and I rate Freedcamp five out of five. So before I was using Freedcamp, I was managing my business on Skype, WhatsApp and group chats and those, and it was hard to track everything, hard to keep everything, to manage everything based on that. So that's why Freedcamp really helped with this calendar system, with its tasks and its projects. Everything is organized and integrated and it's easier to manage now. So one of our team members actually referred Freedcamp to us. They told us that they use that for their business, so they wanted to refer to us, tell us it would be a good software for our business because it was pretty similar industries. So we started using Freedcamp based on that and from there, it was pretty easy. In the beginning, it took not too long to start using Freedcamp. We just started getting used to the tools and learning more about what we can use and what it offers. But once we got everything set up, then it was pretty easy to use, and it was a little bit hard getting our team members used to it. Freedcamp also offers a chat option where we could have our group chats for different categories in our business. So getting people onto that chat and messaging there and updating Freedcamp constantly was a little hard to at least manage them. But now we're working perfectly. Everyone's streamlined and everyone's working quickly and easily on Freedcamp. Just about learning how you want to organize your software. If you're getting into Freedcamp, all your projects and tasks, you have to figure out beforehand what each project and task is going to be about and how you're going to set it up so that you don't have to change it later on in the future because it is just about how you want to structure and organize your business on Freedcamp. Other than that, it's fairly simple. It's very easy and easy to use and it's easy to understand. You understand it right away. Everything's easy, so it's not too hard. Plus, I would recommend it, obviously, 'cause it's free. There are paid programs, but if you can manage your whole business using the free program.

Karan S
Cybersecurity engineer
4.0

Karan S.: Hi, my name is Karan. I'm currently working as a consultant in a cybersecurity consulting company. I would like to rate MS Project as a rating of four out of five. Prior to using a Microsoft Project, I was using another tool, which is called Planner, which is kind of the web interface based tool. The problems which I was really facing with that tool was that it was about the functionalities. It didn't really have a lot of advanced and modern features as what my MS Project has and MS Project is more widely acceptable across different companies and that's why I'm planning to use that. I'm using Microsoft Project more efficiently right now because the way the information is organized in this tool is much more modern and it's more user-friendly. It's more easy to use. It's widely acceptable for different departments. Everybody's kind of used to that. It's easy to communicate through MS Project and helps achieve the work effort more easily. So bringing in Microsoft Project was not easy in the beginning because we had to provide training to all our users who have to use MS Project. It's not at first just seeing the tool could be complex, but we had to really get through the documentations and knowledge articles to understand this tool and we had to also do a lot of user communication, planning, user training and awareness for this tool to make it widely acceptable amongst all the departments and to promote the usage of this new tool across the organization. I would highly recommend if you want to start leveraging this new tool, Microsoft Project, across organization is to start looking at the licensing and cost aspect of it because licensing can be tricky. If we want to adapt to this Microsoft licensing, we really need to start planning on how to actually assign these licenses to what kind of people because not everybody should be using MS Project and the license could be expensive too. So maybe only the affiliated people who are working more towards project planning and project management this tool can be really helpful and I would also recommend [inaudible 00:02:51] to promote a lot of awareness amongst users who are going to be using to start adapting this tool through maybe brochures or email communications and also provide them training documentations at the same time so that they will start adapting to this new tool quickly and efficiently and this can be widely acceptable.
