Kanban Tool powers more than 25,000 small and large businesses from every industry, worldwide.
Teams or companies, using Google Workspace, who need to manage tasks, plan projects and collaborate with others.
Are overjoyed with the possibility to automate recurring tasks - they're working just like clockwork. Overall, very useful application - the not too steep pricing also helps.
There is no available setting for a target column related to due date. The calendar on the right is small, it would be usefull to be able to open it in another window.
Kanban Tool is an incredibly useful tool for project management. I particularly liked its ability to visualize tasks and the progress of a project.
The only little complaint I have is that unless you log in, you can't easily see all the changes that have been made.
Love the new design they've brought out, love the ease of creating new projects, love the maintenance-free time tracking, love their quick support team.
Kanban Tool avoided the eye candy most other developers often rely on to bring customers on-board. They left well enough alone.
What I like is that it is a graphical clear visualization and helps me prioritize what I had going on and in which categories the tasks were.
No shortcomings yet for my use but will update if I uncover any.
A good quality product for a reasonable price. Support staff have been friendly and helpful when needed.
No mobile app yet (web browser experience on mobile is terrible). No global search (only within a dashboard).
I use it with my middle school students to help them mange their team projects. It is easy and fun for them to use and has everything they need.
Unfortunately, lack of an API means automation and/or further integrations aren't possible.
The board is a great way to get a good overall visual impression of the projects in progress.
With only 10 cards to trial + bugs of integration with trello difficult to test even more change.
At the end of the week, it is easy to download a spreadsheet/report of all the done or outstanding cards left.
You would eventually need to pay for the software. It also only works in a google cloud environment which means that your team or organisation must be using google suite first.
Marina O.: My name is Marina. I'm the Permit Coordinator and bookkeeper here at Roofs Only Florida, and I rate Kanban Tool a four out of five. So we were previously using JobNimbus and it had the boards that I was using on a daily basis. We are going to discontinue using JobNimbus, using another software that doesn't offer the boards. So I went ahead looking for another option that would provide me the boards that I needed for my daily work and found Kanban and I'm very pleased with it so far. I decided on Kanban Tools, the main reason was it offered a free trial so I was able to actually try it out first before making a decision, and that was the major influence of making that choice. So the setting up of Kanban Tool was actually very easy. It's very user-friendly, and implementing it and getting it up and set up was extremely easy. I was very pleased with that outcome. So the advice I would give to anybody considering Kanban is try the free trial, get your elbows dirty, get into it, work around it. You're going to see that it does have a lot of benefits and I would be confident that you would choose to stay with it once you've tried it.
