Timesheets.com has been a leader in time tracking for 20 years. Our simple and easy-to-use service starts at just $11 per month for 1-2 workers and we offer a discount for non-profits and educators.
Calamari helps in employees' time tracking management. It automates and simplifies processes connected to absences and timesheets. We provide support in the initial set up & employees' data import.
Timesheets.com provided the best of both worlds - a really good service that was clear, concise, and easy to use.
Can be difficult to request time off. No Am and Pm have to change it yourself.
It’s straight forward and gives me exactly what I need. Customer service has been amazing, resolved my questions very quickly and with ease.
A little confusing about making and or sending notifications to employees. Is it for my records or for their viewing.
The reports are comprehensive and helpful, making it easy to analyze employee performance. I also love that it sends out automatic reminders to employees when they forget to submit their timesheets.
Our prior time recording system was so difficult to use and had hard and fast restrictions about when time must be recorded that my employees were frequently not getting their time in.
With the notification features and approval features, it really is the best of all the ones I trialed and I am satisfied with the pricing.
There is always a live person answering the phone or the chat. If the problem is too complex to be answered via chat then that customer service rep will ask to call and will.
It was definitely time for an upgrade. My staff loves how they can simply request off on the app on their phones, and the weekly reminders of who is in and who is out is great.
Even if something is not working or there is no such feature we needed we always could count on the Admin team.
The Calamari team walked us through every step, answered ever question, and were super personable. Great customer service and the software is truly amazing and easy to use.
There is no way to edit your time off request. If you make a mistake, the entire request has to be deleted, then the manager has to approve the cancellation, then you can resubmit the request.
It is very good for small companies like mine but also for bigger enterprises. I have recomended them to my customers and they are happy with Calamari too.
In 1 year, the annual cost almost doubled. And I dislike that some of the feature that was in the old and cheaper version was split into another product that you have to pay again.
The simplicity of setup and the ease of implementation was a fantastic experience. I always plan for a few "bumps in the road" but there was virtually zero complications when we launched.
I would say that the price is our worst handicap.
Andrew B.: Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm a director of sales and I would give Timesheets.com a three out of five stars. For more reviews like this, click below. Prior to using Timesheets.com, we were using sort of a mixture between paychecks and then also sort of an internal Google Calendar type way of tracking who would be in the office at certain times and when people were coming and leaving. So Timesheets.com has made things a lot easier for us and definitely saved a lot of admin time, instead of having to look in multiple places and rely on our employees for logging everything correctly. We ended up choosing Timesheets.com just for the ease of use, the price and the simple onboarding process. Basically, it was very easy to get all of our employees logged into the system, show them how to use it, and we really haven't had to retrain anybody or had any major issues with it. The cost for the amount of employees we had we thought was a fair price there. Really, just getting it up and running was a very simple task. So we've been thrilled with the product so far and are glad that we chose it. In terms of onboarding and integration, Timesheets.com was extremely easy to use. I mean, really the only cumbersome part was getting all the employees access upfront and getting them sort of loaded into the system. But Timesheets.com assisted us with that and allowed us to save a little bit of time getting them all in there, as well as some useful resources to sort of explain to the employees exactly how to use it and use it the way that we're hoping to get the information out of them. So overall, it was a very easy onboarding process and we were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was for everybody to get up and running. When it came to Timesheets, it was a very good product and sort of opened the door for us in terms of ways to consolidate different resources and ways to track maybe when employees are coming and leaving and different things like that. We actually switched off the Timesheets a few months back, I think it was at the start of 2021. We just got offered a better price for a very similar product and they offered to sort of switch everybody over and onboard everybody. So it sort of came down to the pricing and that's why I gave it a three out of five stars originally.
Scott: Hi, I'm Scott and I'm a director of Digital Ministries. I love Calamari and give it a solid five rating. And for more reviews like this, please click below. Before Calamari, we really were back in the stone age of keeping track of everything with paper and pencil. And so people would just submit a written request when they wanted to have time off and our HR person would keep track of that with a notebook. And so we made a big leap moving to Calamari, and it's been a tremendous change. We switched to Calamari for a lot of reasons. It integrated very, very well with QuickBooks and we loved that. It was easy to use, we went through the demo, we didn't have any problem figuring out how to utilize it right away. They had incredible customer service. We'd reach out with questions and get answers right away and really felt like we mattered. And our users also found it very user friendly. So there were so many positives. We've just loved the switch to Calamari. Getting started with Calamari, as with anything always takes a little bit of a learning curve, but it really wasn't that difficult. Having the help of the Calamari staff to guide us when we ran into little roadblocks was great and we really got it up and running within a day. If you're looking for something to help keep track of your vacation time and time off, I can't recommend Calamari strongly enough. It's been great for our organization. It's easy to use and everybody loves it. We have not had any complaints at all among the administration who runs it or the staff that uses it.
