Employees unable to change their time, even when the option is selected for them to do so. When initial login happens, it NEVER remembers the password and an entire fiasco happens because of it.
It was easy to implement with our team, simplified our timekeeping process, great cost, very easy to add new users - everyone likes it and has great feedback on how easy it is to use.
When employees clock out and close the app immediately, it will sometimes fail to sync. I had assumed that they forgot to clock out, but we found they were just closing the app immediately.
Ease of use to use the software. Clocking in for work is so easy and I feel like it is a very good thing for my employers to keep track of all the employees in the office and yard.
Using this app so far to only track my hours at work. It's hard to mess that up.
I have been using busybusy together with another software for employee management to keep a close eye on our department's employees and their quarterly progress. It has been of great help.
I really like this app, my only "con" would be that the interface is a little ugly.

Notice that this problem is not a priority for them because we would be 15 users out of 1700 to talk about it.
But that was years ago and now they have a really solid platform that seems to have all the features we need and the user interface is super solid.
Missing a few integral features of some other rental platforms that we've used. Particularly when working between multiple warehouses / locations.

Before busybusy, we tried other products like Procore and even just writing things out on a normal timecard. When we switched over to busybusy, it did take some time for our team to learn how to use this app, but now that we've got everybody on it, this app has really helped us be able to track our time, manage our time, and keep accountability on each of our individual projects. We chose busybusy for its flexibility with our 80-plus employees that we have. It gives us the ability to have them log into different projects throughout the day as they're working, as they're doing the things that they are supposed to be doing, we can then be accountable to our client and just let them know that, "Hey, this is accurate billing. This is the amount of time, the amount that these projects take to do this, and we can bill for that time." Whereas before, we ever had that ability. When we first got started with busybusy, it was pretty tough. A lot of the older people in the company were afraid to use an app, and they thought that the GPS tracking meant that we were going to be tracking them all the time, but unless somebody has the time to sit down and just watch every little move that they're making, it just wasn't realistic. And so we got them all to buy into it and they have their GPS location on, just so that way, everybody knows that we're clocking in and out of the project, and it gives us just that one more level of checking for accountability. But, after four years of using this app, we've just really grown to love it and really grown to have the expectation that everybody knows how to use it. And any new hire, just it's no question. It's "Hey, get this app. We're going to get you set up with a log-in. You'll get there and be able to log in and out of your projects with ease and be able to tell us what you're doing and what you've been doing all day without having to take the time and write it down with an old-fashioned piece of paper and pencil." If you're looking for an app that will track your employees and give you readable data to be able to help you with your billing, to help you with accountability for your guys, and just be able to put at ease having to go through a timecard that's written down on a piece of paper, or even maybe you've tried some other apps where you still have to go through and add everything up and figure out how many hours people have, this is the solution. This has been such a wonderful thing for us, and we can click on the individual person, or we can look at the company as a whole, and we can see how many hours we worked this week, and we can break it down to how many hours we put in on specific jobs. And just the ability to account for that saves us hours and hours of time. And payroll is no longer an issue and checking in with guys and trying to figure out where they were working and trying to put together this billing, it's just all right there at my fingertips, either on the app or right there on my desktop when I'm sitting in front of my computer.

We'd tried another software called Easy Rent Out. And the difficulty we kept running into was just the robustness and the amount of features that it was able to offer. The scheduling that Rentman offers is second to none. And it was built by people that understood the rental market and the equipment management. And you know how sometimes the system, there's a workaround for everything within the system, if you need to do something last minute. And there's several different ways to accomplish the same task. So whatever method fits your boat, they've got one for it. The reasons we chose Rentman was that we were able to customize a lot of our documentation that we sent out to our clients. We were able to write our own verbiage, include our own hyperlinks. That just made it so that it was a little more personal when we would send communication back and forth. It also allowed us to use better check in, checkout systems and to maintain assets, update, to make changes to inventory and keep track of things a lot better. So when we were getting started, like all new softwares, it took a little bit of getting used to with Rentman, but their support is really top notch. They're really quick to respond and they come out with updates pretty frequently if you ever run into bugs or have questions or issues. And they've got a pretty extensive video training series that really got our team up and going. If you're considering Rentman, give it a trial. Call them up, have them walk you through how the software works, how to implement it with your business and give it a go. Try all the different features, dive into the different settings. And if there's something that you don't quite know, just let them know, and they can either point you to how to do it or work on getting that system implemented into the new catalog of features.
