Customer support is great. Oh, and I know the owner Great (great guy) so you'll be in good hands.
I only manage to find a few on Google which helped a little. Sizes of the images are only limited to JPG file which I didn't know why after a constant struggle of failures to upload a PNG image.
The intuitive nature of your interface is extremely helpful for both course designers and students. As a site and course administrator, I'm exceptionally impressed with the ease of use.
In the days of Covid, with so many things happening to small businesses- THinkific has been the WORST to deal with.
They are genuinely interested in your progress and success. Having engaged in an online webinar, I realised how easy the platform is to use.
For the plan I am on it is a shame there certificate functionality is not available.
A stunning product which I would have been happy to use (even with all the workarounds for certificates, email and quizzes).
Everything else is about the same, but Thinkific is slightly more expensive and the pricing model is confusing.
Makes learning fun, generates competition. Great reporting features, which not only help participants, but assist the Training Department to identify areas of focus.
No compatibility with Apple Keynote. Physical Clickers are small and easily lost.
The ability to crop out certain parts of a recording easily within the browser and the ability to manually edit captions for clarity are also very helpful.
You cant simply use the software, you have to register for a Turning Account which is a nightmare when you forget the password and 500 people are waiting for you to sort the problem out.
The software is relatively user friendly. Due to the nature of our industry, we do prefer to use the built in clickers, but having the option for smart devices is also a great benefit.
Also, I wish there was a way to not give points against a person's score if they do not answer a question. Sometimes signals are weak or someone leaves the room, and they are penalized for that.
It is super easy to use. One thing that is great is once you are set to a channel on your remote for that class you won’t need to change it as long as the receiver’s channel doesn’t get changed.
As far as I am aware, it is the only clicker company that charges an annual fee for people who purchase clickers. Without the software the clickers do not work so the annual fee is a essential.
Shawn B.: Hey, my name is Shawn. I'm a professional life coach. I give think Thinkific a 4 out of 5. If you want to see more reviews like this, click below. Before Thinkific, I was using YouTube and Google Drive and all these places I could host videos. But the problem there is that it wasn't all together in a course setting. It was just sporadic and scattered and links here and links there. Nothing was in one area for a entire course to be built. I got into Thinkific because they offer a really great free plan, and it was a place where I wanted to gather all my coaching videos into one course. And I found it really easy to use, the settings, the colors. All the bringing it together was straightforward. I've had people purchase that. And the fact that I was able to be on a free plan for a long time was really appealing. And I'm actually still on the free plan. I haven't even needed to upgrade. That's how impressed I have been with Thinkific. Getting started with Thinkific was really easy. The way they have the Course Builder, you can have two different modes to see it being built. I just found it so simple to upload the videos, insert some text, have some links to outbound websites and whatnot. Implementing it in our business was really simple, put links on our website, on our social media. And ultimately, it actually was easier than I expected and produced better results than I expected for a free plan. And it being so quick. If you're thinking about getting Thinkific, I would say give it a go. They have an awesome free plan. It's a place where you can build a course, get yourself started without investing a bunch of money. I would say that I am a big fan of Thinkific simply because they offer such a high product for free. And then if you want to upgrade, have discounts or coupons, you can do that. But I think it's awesome product, and I would highly recommend it to anybody who wants to build their course and get themselves started right.
