Deel is the all-in-one platform built to hire, manage, and pay teams worldwide. Deel serves more than 35,000 customers, from SMBs to publicly traded companies.
Zenefits serves SMBs of all sizes; from 1 to 5 employees, to businesses with 1000+ employees.
Overall, the service is excellent, the customer services and the features are amazing, being a digital nomad and having to travel a lot, Deel helps me keep track of my work and clients.
Worst payroll/hr company ever. They won't even contact the unemployment office for me to answer the questionnaire for my unemployment claim.
Their customer service team is very responsive and does their best to solve issues swiftly.
But now the worst part is that they say it should already be in my bank account but it's not and the bank statements don't show the transfer or that they are holding for review.
I like how customer support help me with problems, the were quickly and very friendly with the request. Also I like how easy is to find the assistance.
This platform is bad, they don’t value the employees.
I love to use Deel, The platform is great, and simple to use but complete with all the features that we need. I recommend it to all my colleagues.
Not flexible about compliance(most requests are denied).
I really like the hiring, background checks, and HR benefits integration. These features simplify our work, give us a professional appearance, and provide great benefits to our customers.
I am *so* disappointed with how far the product, customer support, and overall experience have fallen.
Users have reported feeling supported and motivated by connecting with other like-minded individuals who are also working towards improved health and wellbeing.
Not a lot of options to customize. Unable to add employees to an off-cycle after it's been created which means you have to start over or add an additional off-cycle to capture a missed employee.
Switching back and forth between your personal user dashboard as well as the admin dashboard is very nice. The reports are great and the customizable reports are perhaps its greatest quality.
Some hiring documents generated contain risky errors. The information presented is not customizable enough for most businesses.
The Help and online FAQs are extensive and extremely helpful as is the help desk and response time. Payroll is a breeze, open enrollment for benefits is smooth and the Time Off module is wonderful.
RUN to a different company. Zenefits is truly the worst.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Rilwan. I'm the co-founder and product designer at [inaudible 00:00:06]. Right now it's a team of seven people and on a scale of 1 to 5, I give Deel a 5. Thanks. Before we start using Deel, what we would do would be we'll make a job listing on Indeed then we'll get the person in charge of HR to speak to the person. Because we do a lot of remote work as well. Most of our staff work remotely and they're from different countries so we just have to do everything manually one step by the other and that would be too stressful. So we put a job listing. Once we get the person we're trying to get to the company, then we have to work around, okay, what are the requirements to actually employ somebody from this country? So that's what we ideally used to do before. The main reason would be the fact that with Deel, everything we need is actually in one place. So once we can always, it's easy to operate, it saves us time. And they've already done the grant works already with making payments, incorporating the employee into the system, into the company. Deel just makes everything easier. So that was the reason why we started using them because it saves us a lot of time and it makes the process easier compared to what we used to do before. My [inaudible 00:01:23] was, as a co-founder, I suggested it but the person that incorporated, and I was there as well, was the person in charge of our HR. And it was really simple because it's just to fit in information. Then Deel, it's a platform that's been used to actually make the incorporation easy. So it was really easy. On a scale of 1 to 5, I'd definitely give Deel a 5. Right now with the aftermath of the COVID-19, you've got a lot of people employing with more staffs from different parts of the world and trying to incorporate them into the business can be an issue. But with Deel, if you start off nurse, similar situation with us. What you don't want is having issues then you have to deal with lawyers, you have to deal with accountants trying to do this, when you can just use a platform like Deel that makes everything simple. So that saves you the time, that saves you money in the long run. So the advice would be look at what your business needs right now. You get to the point where you're employing the people from different parts of the world. Deel will be the ideal platform. It's a software for you to actually incorporate into your business. Thanks.
Shawn: My name is Shawn. I am an IT solutions architect. For Zenefits, I give them five out of five. And for more reviews like this click below. As a small business we didn't have an HR platform and we were considering to use something to make our lives a little bit easier. Our payroll vendor Paychex had a pay Flex platform, but it just seems too cumbersome, too complicated. And after reviewing that we said there has to be something easier and we started looking around and that's when we found Zenefits. Our reason for choosing Zenefits was, one, it was extremely easy, very intuitive in terms of how everything flowed in for employee creation, handbook creation, everything seemed to be in place. And we're just plugging our information in as opposed to some of the other platforms where you had to create everything from scratch. As a small business, it was also important for us to have our costs low and Zenefits was great for us to be able to bring in just the four employees and not feel that we're paying for an enterprise class HR platform when we were just a small business. Onboarding with Zenefits was fairly easy, was fairly simple. Like I said earlier, that it was extremely intuitive. So I want to say 90% of that was just on our own. And when we did reach out to Zenefits, the staff and the help desk seemed to be fairly connected with what our small business needs were. So yeah, it was fairly intuitive for us to do it on our own. If you're a small business and you want to have the feel and management of enterprise businesses and you want to have a proper HR department and you want to have the knowledge base, the industry expertise that goes behind everything that a small business entrepreneurs don't have the bandwidth for, the Zenefits is a great platform.
