SwipedOn is the ideal fit for any business looking to enhance safety, security and compliance for everyone in the workplace and streamline manual processes.
From offices with just a few employees to others over 50,000, The Receptionist for iPad is used by thousands of businesses around the globe.
Great software with clean, simple interface and great support. All for a reasonable price.
You cannot use the same email for employees on more than one account, which is a bit annoying. There is a workaround that fixes this issue, but is still a bit inconvenient.
You can tell they really want to help their customers and make their great product as best as it can be.
Losing all staff who where signed in on site prior to triggering an evacuation.
We are made to feel like the product is very well technically supported and customer service has actually been superb.
Signing in process - some visitors find it confusing.
It is consistent and our customers are very happy with its use. Easy to navigate and reliable.
We seem to have a lot of guests that miss this section and are wondering what the next step is. Not a big deal, but that's the only negative I can think of.
We love it and find it to be reliable and affordable. I personally have already recommended it to two friends looking for a receptionist solution for their offices.
One con is that the email receipt cannot be customized to say your client's name. This can cause a client who is visiting the bank to think they have received a spoofed or fraud email.
The iPad Receptionist was the clear winner due to its ease of use, customization, and amazing customer support.
USPS and Fedex complained about our last application that we put in the field because they didn't want to type anything in and it was too confusing.
Terrific and simple way to save tons of money at the door. Everyone who sees this thinks it's brilliant too.
Badge printing is limited to 2 specific printers with limited customization. No automated visitor log delivery.
It's been a great so far, we're very happy with the service, and our visitors are loving it. Being able to customize it (daily, if necessary!) means we can be very responsive to our visitor needs.
I have no concerns, we just had a hard time getting it installed due to our company's IT process.
Ashley: Hi. My name's Ashley and I am the IT and Applications manager for my organization. Organization size of about 100 to 150 people. We love SwipedOn and I give it five stars. So our organization does not have a receptionist anymore, does not have a meet and greet person in the foyer or the reception. So we were trying to figure out how to invite vendors and third party people onto our site, and we were doing a manual process with an email and a ring round and it just didn't work because nobody wanted the responsibility of doing the ring round. So SwipedOn, satisfied all that criteria because it is brilliant at notifying people of who's here and why they're here. We love SwipedOn because cloud-based, it works on lots of different devices like the Androids and the iOS and even Windows, and you can set up a kiosk anywhere at all. You could even set up a kiosk outside in the wall or inside in the foyer, and it's just easy and it works and it does what it says on the tin. SwipedOn getting set up, getting integrated, it is a process. The organization has to know what it wants before it can ask somebody to give it a solution, so it was a good idea for us to collaborate with colleagues and superiors to figure out what's the best thing to do. Then when I got engaged with the salesperson and the implementation team within SwipedOn, it was just so easy. They had a yes answer for everything. There was no messing, it was set up, integrated, all just worked. Lots of add-ons that you could choose to opt in or opt out, all good. I recommend SwipedOn because it's just a really good tool. It's lightweight software. It fits onto any operating system and it gives you lots of options to manage your external vendors coming on site. It logs their car registration, it notifies the supervisor or the person by SMS or email or other versions. It integrates with some of the other collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Slack and whatever else. I would really recommend it as a good solution.
Kelly: I'm Kelly. I'm the owner of Bloom Counseling and Nutrition. We're a group practice of about 13 employees. And I give Receptionists for iPad a five-star rating. Before we had the Receptionist for iPad, we really didn't have any process. We had a waiting room and we would just have to go in and check the waiting room from our office a lot to see if our clients had arrived yet. So the Receptionist for iPad was the first thing that we tried that actually helped us have a system for knowing when our clients arrived. I chose the Receptionist for iPad because the whole system looked really professional. When I looked at the other options out there, it wasn't affordable option compared to hiring a receptionist. We also didn't really have the space for a receptionist desk in our waiting room. It also is a really easy way for us to know when our clients arrive because they just check in on the iPad and it shoots a text to our cell phones, letting us know they're there and ready for their session. So the whole thing is really seamless and easy and is a great solution for us in our space. Getting started wasn't too bad. I think it was pretty user-friendly. We've had it for about two years, so I don't fully remember, but I'm not the most technologically savvy person and I was able to figure out the setup myself and use the online system to load all of our providers into it and get the app on the iPad. And anytime I did run into a hiccup, the customer support was able to help me through it. For anyone considering getting the Receptionist for iPad, I would highly recommend it. I think it's a system that when your clients arrive and their first impression of coming into your space, it is really professional. It is easy for the clients to follow. They know what to do, and it's really efficient in the need that it serves for informing us of who's there. And I really have no complaints. So for anyone considering it, I would encourage it. Especially looking at the alternatives of having a human receptionist in the waiting room, it's just much more affordable. So I think it's a great solution.
