Briana: Hi, my name is Briana. I'm the CEO of a nonprofit. For Kindful, I rated a three out of five. For more reviews like this, see below. Kindful was our first major platform of that nature. Before, we were just making it work with Google Sheets and actually GoFundMe through just getting our initial donor databases built out. So as we were migrating from the very early days to a little bit slightly more advanced, we went with Kindful to assist with CRM and donor database management. So, a salesperson had actually approached me on LinkedIn, and I had never heard of it before, so I did a little bit of research. And not being familiar with other options or products of that nature, our team took a look and thought that it would be a smart investment. So from there, we pretty much just moved everything into the prospecting stage and were able to get set up within about a month or two of that outreach. So it was pretty robust. They had us meet with a pretty large team, relatively speaking, and there were a few points of contact that we worked with to get the initial account built out, because it wasn't super user-friendly and intuitive so they had to walk us through the Sandbox feature and the dashboard and all the different capabilities. But with their help, we were able to figure it out. And then also we had some volunteers on deck at the time internally that were able to expedite the onboarding and setup process. I would say definitely do some research and make sure that you feel it's worth it, because they did come at a cost of about $200 a month in our case. So especially if you're very early stage and have to be very cost-conservative, I think that it would be wise to evaluate free platforms just while you're getting started, especially if you don't see a long-term vision for the use of it. If it's more experimental, I definitely don't think that it's something to go all in on financially super early on. But if you do feel like it'll have a lot of value for you over the duration of your organization and fundraising period, then go for it.
