I can select the modules that best suit my needs. Their method of execution is comprehensive, their follow-up is reliable, and their staff is always pleasant and helpful.
Paycor is difficult to change/cancel/adjust time off. I struggle with the time off section and often have to just delete the PTO submitted and resubmit when there is an error.
I like that the implementation was super smooth and easy. It's never easy to switch providers, however, our implementation team was amazing.
From the start, our experience with PayCor has been horrible. False claims during sales.
Our company uses Paycor not just for paystubs, but also for company recognition-- which is nice to have a formalized platform to document positive feedback.
Registration questions and interface are confusing and sometime not applicable. The system tries to pay them as employees and tax them the same way, etc.
We are currently switching from Nimble(their old version) to Ximble. This system is super user friendly and on the off chance that I can't find something, the Support Staff is top notch.
Sales promised the World. Timecard approvals are meaningless because it does not prevent the timecard from being changed afterward.
It also allows for team members to request and give "Feedback", which can be great for transparency and personal growth. This software is also great for yearly, quarterly, etc. performance reviews.
The only con is that its a stand alone software and not built into other payroll or HR platforms.
I love how user friendly this software is to navigate. I also love that there are many different options (posting, praising, polling etc).
As an administrator, I have a difficult time pulling analytics besides the dashboard information, and sometimes the dashboard information is confusing/inaccurate.
Engagedly has been both the best too and the best vendor that Performance Optimization has worked with in a long time.
It limits this option and makes it difficult for us to share team events and team member profiles.
If I do run into an issue or have a question, the support team has been outstanding. You email them and the follow up and resolution is always prompt.
Haven't noticed any improvements needed at this time.
David: My name is David. I'm an HR manager, and I work for a nonprofit company that's got about 250 employees. I would give Paycor a solid five. Previously, we were using a system called Zenefits, which was not very robust. They had pretty poor customer service, and it just was a little glitchier than anybody really liked. It also was not very intuitive to use. We chose Paycor, because we tested several different companies. They were the company that really seemed to care the most about what our experience was going to be after implementation. A lot of great demos, a lot of assurances that the things that we were looking for, like an intuitive interface that employees would enjoy using the app from their perspective. And yeah, they just promised us that if there wasn't something that was working for us, that we could look at it, and they have absolutely lived up to that promise. So implementation of Paycor was the easiest thing I think I've ever done. When we switched providers previously, a couple of years before that, to Zenefits, that process took about two weeks and was labor-intensive. When we implemented Paycor, they walked us through the process. It took less than two hours and we were done. And it worked beautifully from day one, pretty much. So to anybody who's looking at switching HRIS systems, I would say test drive as many as you can. Look at the features that are going to be most important to you, whether it's timekeeping or reporting. For us, what was most important was going to be customer service, because we do have a very unusual setup and we knew that we would need to reach out from time to time with different issues. And they have absolutely lived up to their promises of excellent customer service.
