isolved is the most-trusted HCM technology leader, providing the best combination of software and services to meet the needs of today’s People Heroes – HR, payroll, and benefits professionals.
I can select the modules that best suit my needs. Their method of execution is comprehensive, their follow-up is reliable, and their staff is always pleasant and helpful.
Paycor is difficult to change/cancel/adjust time off. I struggle with the time off section and often have to just delete the PTO submitted and resubmit when there is an error.
I like that the implementation was super smooth and easy. It's never easy to switch providers, however, our implementation team was amazing.
From the start, our experience with PayCor has been horrible. False claims during sales.
Our company uses Paycor not just for paystubs, but also for company recognition-- which is nice to have a formalized platform to document positive feedback.
Registration questions and interface are confusing and sometime not applicable. The system tries to pay them as employees and tax them the same way, etc.
We are currently switching from Nimble(their old version) to Ximble. This system is super user friendly and on the off chance that I can't find something, the Support Staff is top notch.
Sales promised the World. Timecard approvals are meaningless because it does not prevent the timecard from being changed afterward.
The basic version of this software is great and easy to use. The team is great when implementing add ons, and the isolved University is full of helpful documents and webinars.
My accountant is completely baffled at the poor job they have done- the mistakes are simply inexcuseable.
It has been excellent, and I appreciate that support is just a phone call away. It's been wonderful to create performance reviews tailored specifically to my company.
The software is not my concern, it is the lack of support when things go wrong.
I enjoy the customization capabilities of iSolved. It is also super useful that the system in cloud based.
The customer service has been horrible and every time I have contacted iSolved, I have received a different answer on the billing.
We like the automated calculating of ovetime per our specific company policy and tracking of vacations, etc. Kelly has been terrific to work with and promptly addressed any concerns we had.
Have to login multiple times to access my payroll. Waste of my time and very frustrating.
David: My name is David. I'm an HR manager, and I work for a nonprofit company that's got about 250 employees. I would give Paycor a solid five. Previously, we were using a system called Zenefits, which was not very robust. They had pretty poor customer service, and it just was a little glitchier than anybody really liked. It also was not very intuitive to use. We chose Paycor, because we tested several different companies. They were the company that really seemed to care the most about what our experience was going to be after implementation. A lot of great demos, a lot of assurances that the things that we were looking for, like an intuitive interface that employees would enjoy using the app from their perspective. And yeah, they just promised us that if there wasn't something that was working for us, that we could look at it, and they have absolutely lived up to that promise. So implementation of Paycor was the easiest thing I think I've ever done. When we switched providers previously, a couple of years before that, to Zenefits, that process took about two weeks and was labor-intensive. When we implemented Paycor, they walked us through the process. It took less than two hours and we were done. And it worked beautifully from day one, pretty much. So to anybody who's looking at switching HRIS systems, I would say test drive as many as you can. Look at the features that are going to be most important to you, whether it's timekeeping or reporting. For us, what was most important was going to be customer service, because we do have a very unusual setup and we knew that we would need to reach out from time to time with different issues. And they have absolutely lived up to their promises of excellent customer service.
Brian W.: Hi, I'm Brian. I'm the human resources manager for the City of Middleton. Middleton is a small city in Wisconsin, in the Madison area, just recognized as the 18th best place to live for families in Fortune Magazine. I've been here for about four and a half years, and throughout that time, I've used iSolved as our human resources software. I would rate it as a five out of five. Previous to using iSolved, I've used a white label version of ADP. I also have used Paycom as the human resources software for organizations I was with prior to the City of Middleton. I would rate the ADP at about a 3.0 and the Paycom about the same. iSolved has been able to provide us a much better solution. We use iSolved because it's integrated into all the processes in the city. It allows me to manage performance reviews, managed payroll, process payroll, maintain personnel records, support employees with both mobile and computer-based access to their personnel records, their pay statements, and all of the basic processes that get us through day-to-day taking care of our employees. It also has an incredibly powerful reporting process and reporting tools that allow me to not only pull data from the system, but to polish and refine data before I even extract it from the system. When I arrived at the city, iSolved was already the software we used, but I found that it wasn't initially set up the way that I would like to see it as a human resources manager. Working with the support team and customer success teams at iSolved, I was able to further configure the system to automatically process complex elements of our payroll system, including special pays, and to configure it to manage our personnel records in a manner that was in what I would like to see. All of those processes were very simple and guided through for us by the customer support teams. If you're looking at iSolved, I would definitely consider it strongly. It's an excellent software for a mid-market size organization, somewhere between 50 to about 500 employees. It gives tools that allow you to very effectively manage those different sizes of employees, in a variety of organizations that might be private sector or even in the public sector.
