I can select the modules that best suit my needs. Their method of execution is comprehensive, their follow-up is reliable, and their staff is always pleasant and helpful.
Paycor is difficult to change/cancel/adjust time off. I struggle with the time off section and often have to just delete the PTO submitted and resubmit when there is an error.
I like that the implementation was super smooth and easy. It's never easy to switch providers, however, our implementation team was amazing.

It's very user friendly, easy to train new people on and it has a great workflow. The dashboard isn't too busy and the functionality overall is the best I've used after almost 20 years in recruitment.
The inability to view a CV while on a call with a candidate without downloading the document.

The only negative part of the system is that when you are adding new role you have to add the contact before entering the company.

David: My name is David. I'm an HR manager, and I work for a nonprofit company that's got about 250 employees. I would give Paycor a solid five. Previously, we were using a system called Zenefits, which was not very robust. They had pretty poor customer service, and it just was a little glitchier than anybody really liked. It also was not very intuitive to use. We chose Paycor, because we tested several different companies. They were the company that really seemed to care the most about what our experience was going to be after implementation. A lot of great demos, a lot of assurances that the things that we were looking for, like an intuitive interface that employees would enjoy using the app from their perspective. And yeah, they just promised us that if there wasn't something that was working for us, that we could look at it, and they have absolutely lived up to that promise. So implementation of Paycor was the easiest thing I think I've ever done. When we switched providers previously, a couple of years before that, to Zenefits, that process took about two weeks and was labor-intensive. When we implemented Paycor, they walked us through the process. It took less than two hours and we were done. And it worked beautifully from day one, pretty much. So to anybody who's looking at switching HRIS systems, I would say test drive as many as you can. Look at the features that are going to be most important to you, whether it's timekeeping or reporting. For us, what was most important was going to be customer service, because we do have a very unusual setup and we knew that we would need to reach out from time to time with different issues. And they have absolutely lived up to their promises of excellent customer service.

Sadly the system was far too straightforward and quite simply wasn't really what we were looking for. Firefish gave us more options in terms of what we were looking for. Not only a good CRM and ATS system, but also a front website that we were also looking to bring in for the business as well. The system is very straightforward, easy to introduce, and the guys love it. Firefish was incredible from the start. The onboarding process was incredibly quick. Scott and me showing the team made it really easy for us to quickly become introduced to the system, be able to use the system and effectively get underway as soon as possible. There was no onboarding issues whatsoever. The recommendations in terms of moving over to Firefish is simple. Just do it. It's one of those that is the best system or technology decision that I've made for the business in the last 10 years. And that's just the truth of it. It's really, really straightforward, and it's a really good system.
