Entrepreneur who's opening an e-commerce marketplace from scratch or expanding his (her) business.
The ease of use in everyday situations, the stability through upgrades and the easy of customizations for the front end are top notch. Also the ease to integrate a tone of great themes and modules.
All countries aren't installed in the localization section of the admin dashboard which will hinder those buyers from the excluded countries from completing their transactions.
PrestaShop supports working with two design sites: Envato and Templatemonster. At Envato, I downloaded a great template for myself, perfect for my tasks.
Graphical statistics have a terrible layout. Most of the screen is occupied by visual trash.
Prestashop is easy to use, it does not require great knowledge to install. You can start with free templates and as a basic user you have great options.
The platform is too heavy, the server will constantly crash. For those who are thinking about this CMS, I would recommend buying a hosting no cheaper than $ 100.
I so much love its themes because they're so elegant and responsive on all devices. Prestashop also has some nice plugins which are free then i love its product image zoom feature.
If you don't engage the right person for the development, could have some problem when you update the core. Community not has much engaged than other platform.
With cs-cart, I believe my website offers same or better experience than amazon or any other global marketplaces. I am truly thankful to the amazing cs-cart development team.
We were 90% on board and ready to pay to use this software but every time we dove further into using the software a new problem would occur and support would disappear.
I would recommend without hesitation. The price is fair, customer service is fantastic and the software is solid.
Worst customer support experience in my life. They seem to have very little concern for your needs.
It is very agile, robust, secure and intuitive for new members. Cs-Cart team keeps on top of all the latest developments and therefore this solutions is very powerful, even just out of the box.
Refund functionality does not substract the amount from accounting. Though I created a work around for it but its a major problem.
CS-Cart was so easy to install and configure, and great value for money without compromising on any of the key functionality, quality and reliability we needed.
A little bit difficult to get the hang of the design aspect. If you're used to using blocks to design, it'll be easier.
Eva: My name is Eva. I work as a digital marketing manager at QAD. We have ERP and Supply Chain Systems. It's a software company from the States. I have, well, experience as digital marketing manager in paid advertising and e-commerce for the past eight years, and I am giving PrestaShop a rating of five stars. WooCommerce with WordPress, it's a plugin for WordPress, and I also used Magento, and I honestly did not like any of those. WooCommerce and with WordPress is really, from my perspective, not a very practical software for e-commerce, and it lacks a lot of important features like back office, order management, and things like that. And inventory management, for instance, is a key aspect for e-commerce companies. And Magento is quite honestly, you cannot even do proper SEO with Magento, and I also missed a lot of main features that I mentioned before. At the time, I was working for a company that wanted to grow very quickly, and in order to scale the business, we needed a software that was really useful, had the main functionalities that we were looking for, and that was able to grow with us, and so that's why we decided for PrestaShop. Initially, we had a web developer help us with the installation, and we also customized PrestaShop for our needs, but it was very, very intuitive to use. I remember setting up all the content for the products that we had. We had a very large product catalog. It was very easy. Also, for SEO was very easy, and we were immediately able to use the main functionalities without training basically. The recommendations that I would give that person is to look for the main functionalities and features that you need for your business to think about the situation that you're currently in. If you want to grow in an accelerated way, you need to look at the software that it helps you with your scaling of the business, and if you don't... And also to think about the fact that you're investing in the future of your business, because what we saw when we used PrestaShop was the fact that we had four times more sales than before, because basically we had more functionalities with the software. We were able to use the software to grow very quickly and to help our customers. So, it was really important for us at that time to use the software, and it helped us a lot, and what I would really always consider is two things, do you want to scale your business? At what point are you in the outlook of your business, and what kind of features do you need?
Speaker 3: Hi, I'm Brandy, CFO of retail. My company has reviewed CS-Carts. I give them a four-star review. Click below for more of the review. I use CS-Carts for online store to manage it and get insights in web traffic and sales statistics, set up commission rates, customized subscriptions, and then create promotions for vendors and also get feedback. I like that it's the one time fee for CS-Carts, unlike a lot of the others. They also have a lot of options and some themes. Also, you can add themes. They will translate, import, export. They have a manual that goes over just about anything that could possibly ever go wrong. And also, it's on your server, so that's good. And I like their layouts a little bit. The only things I really dislike is it can be hard to upload videos and it also has let vendors do blog posts on your main websites. And you can spend a lot with your add-ons.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
