MemberPress will work brilliantly for any small, mid-sized or large business that would like to roll out a Membership or eLearning site for their customers.
Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for entrepreneurs to build, market, and sell digital products based on their expertise.
What I liked most was that it includes a robust and powerful payment gateway integration with Stripe and Paypal. Also, setting up the criteria and parameters of memberships is easy and intuitive.
For sure the most frustrating part of this was the inability (as far as I could see) to turn off notifications during an import.
I enjoy working with this tool because of the flexibility and comfort it provides. Would recommend trying it for yourself.
Horrible implementation and setup - especially for anyone with an existing membership.
The response was instant and the solution very quickly solved. The help is outstanding, friendly which gave me the confidence to roll out subscriptions with ease.
I am not sure why that is necessary and feel that's been the one downside to memberpress being linked with WordPress in this way.
I am relatively new to web design and website management so was facing a huge learning curve already but this plugin is soo amazing, easy to use and support is fantastic.
I originally purchased WooCommerce and had a lot of trouble trying to configure it for use with memberships. It required several add-on purchases.
They have the "onboarding a new customer" process down. From the training to the welcome video from the founder, they do make you feel like you have made a good choice right from the start.
If you're looking for an all-in-one platform, Kajabi provides it. However, the poor email deliverability, lack of customer service, and limited customization kills it.
You can find many apps that try to do what Kajabi does but trust is very important to me. And Kajabi is not only trustworthy but has great style.
Customer Service has decline terribly - over an hour and no resolution to a simple problem.
Kajabi has brilliant and super amazing features. The reliability of Kajabi makes it an incredible solution.
It is still limited in it's integration and I find it a struggle sometimes to integrate other third party software.
If you enjoy the quality and customer service of Whole Foods and Amazon...Kajabi has a very similar culture. Working with them has been one of best business choice we've ever made.
Very shady marketing and abysmal customer service. Company willing to completely rip people off with no remorse.
Christina C.: Hi, I'm Christina. I'm a nutritionist and I give MemberPress a five out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. I chose MemberPress because I have a WordPress website and I wanted a membership and course plugin that would blend seamlessly into my website and that would be very effective. I looked at other options, external subscription options, and they were just too expensive and ultimately I didn't have control over the content, so I chose MemberPress and I'm very glad I did. I chose MemberPress because there are very robust features that come with the product. It's very affordable price point. There's also a lot of support, so setting up the plugin and adding it to my website was so easy. I received so much support through email and also directly contacting their support team. That was wonderful. It allowed me to set up my course and my membership up without a hitch, so really grateful. Setting up MemberPress was easy. As soon as I purchased the plugin, I received a series of emails with step-by-step instructions telling me exactly how to install a plugin, how to adjust the settings, and then how to format and customize it so that it matched my websites, CSS and HTML. For anyone looking to install MemberPress, please know that you need to be knowledgeable when it comes to WordPress and using the backend. Installing the plugin is easy, but setting it up so that it seamlessly meshes with your website, can be a bit tricky. So either you need to have robust knowledge when it comes to working with WordPress, or you need to have a great developer who can easily install the plugin and set it up. Once it's set up, adding the content and also getting the payment gateway set up, is fairly easy.
Amanda H.: Hi, I'm Amanda. I am a copywriter and launch strategist for coaches in the online space and we utilize Kajabi frequently, and I would say I give them a five star all around. I love everything from their interface to their customer service. So in a day-to-day I use Kajabi for my own business, positioning my offers for people to purchase, whether it's my copywriting course or services that I offer, like one-on-one coaching. Additionally, I do sales funnel builds and course builds for clients. So, on a regular basis I'm in there doing tagging and email sequences and building out designs, the whole nine yards. All right. So as a creative, I really love the robust versatility that Kajabi provides, everything from their email sequences to being able to plug-and-play in a sales page, and even being able to add coding in there. Those are things that, as a creative, I really value when I choose a platform to work with. All right. So what I would say that I dislike most about Kajabi at this time is it seems like every time we get new features being presented to us, they are adding additional costs to be able to utilize those in a lot of the areas. For instance, the app feature that came out is quite costly to add it on to an already expensive platform.
