Klaviyo serves businesses of all sizes with a DTC presence through seamless integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Square Online, Mindbody, and hundreds more.
Great features and capabilities to develop and maintain workflows for Lead Management and Nurturing. Provides ability to deliver personalized messages for prospects and customers in real time.
Filter logic is absolutely miserable. There is no Boolean logic in the tool (going back to my point on "simplicity"), which is horrific for building out any type of complex filters for segments.
Great visibilty into customers, ease of implementation and good support from vendor. Brings valuable visibility to reps.
It offers very limited set of features, which don't work quite as expected, the support is terribly lazy, and all that comes at a price much higher than that of the competition.
Lastly, support is excellent. Salesforce Trailblazer is fantastic for self-guided-training, the documentation is up-to-date and accurate, and support tickets are answered promptly and knowledgeably.
Whether it was over complicated work flows, inconsistent reporting or terrible customer support - there was always a bad experience that made people hesitant about whether they could manage Pardot.
It integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, which makes it a really good addition. I like how customizable it is and the visualization options it offers.
Multiple ways of accomplishing the same results make it a tad bit confusing. Also, in-built connectors are limited as compared to some of the other alternatives.
Klaviyo is a pretty good email automation software. They have a lot of the same functions and abilities as all of the other guys so for me it came down to price when using them.
Pretty soon after that they changed their pricing structure and moved to a different fee base. That's when I lost my $20 and it would no longer be used toward my charges.
Customer service is amazing and so readily available via chat and they do seem to possess a great degree of knowledge about the product and its functionality/capabilities.
It's very hard to find flaws with the software.
The ease of set up and the ability to see results against the campaigns. It was up and running within 24hr and their onboarding was outstanding.
My biggest issue is how rudimentary the software is. API functions are weak and and the server bandwidth isn’t very much.
Email is gold when it comes to making sales, so having a reliable service that offers nice options is critical. I would definitely recommend.
They say that all the plans are the same and there are no hidden fees or add-ons.
Sabal: Hi, my name's Sabal. I am a data impact associate. I give Pardot a review of four out of five stars, and for more reviews, see below. Before my organization started using Pardot, we were on eTapestry's built-in mass email communication software system. It wasn't working for us because it was a technology of the past. It was very clunky. We had a very limited amount of mailable prospects we had, and it was very manual, and the resolution for videos, images wasn't the best. The first biggest selling point for Pardot was its native integration with Salesforce. So now whenever we have a contact in Salesforce, it's automatically synced to Pardot, which makes it a lot easier for my team to use and navigate. And the second reason why we chose Pardot is because of its really intelligent tools, such as Engagement Studio where we can automate a lot of our tasks and be a much more efficient organization. Pardot definitely is not the easiest tool to use. We have to hire consultants to help us build it and integrate it with Salesforce. It took us about a full year before we became confident with using Pardot, and every day my organization is still learning more things that the tool can do for us. If you're a small team and want to be super efficient, Pardot is a great tool for you because it takes a lot of the manual work out, especially with drip campaigns and a lot of its automation tools.
Steve: My name's Steve, I'm the marketing manager at Base London footwear company. And I'm giving Klaviyo five stars. Before Klaviyo, we were using Mailchimp. It was okay to begin with, but we found we outgrew it. The functionality that we needed wasn't quite there for the customer data platform perspective. Also, the editing of the templates was a little bit rudimentary. Good platform, but we just needed to scale up. The reasons we went for Klaviyo. It had great integrations with Magento, which we were with at the time. We're now with Shopify, even better integrations with that. It had very flexible pricing model. It had an incredibly easy to use drag and drop editor. And it was especially good at editing for mobile first. But yeah, it just had a lot of features. And like I said, the price, the scaling price, made it easy to get on board with and then grow with as time goes on. It was incredibly easy to onboard Klaviyo. They have very detailed help articles on how to transition from something like Mailchimp, which I think a lot of people do. So importing all the customer data was very simple. Then I believe it was just a bit of code I think to add to Magento. On Shopify, it's even easier. I think that there's a Shopify plugin for it. So there wasn't really any dev work needed. I think it was all done in-house. First of all, Klaviyo is an incredible platform regardless of your business size, whether you are a small, medium business or an enterprise level. The flexible pricing makes it incredibly easy to start. It's very intuitive. There's a huge amount of features, that I don't even use yet. But as far as scheduling campaigns and stuff and building templates, pop-ups, managing your customer data, it's all there. And one of the best things about them is that they continually innovate and they seem to bring new features for no extra cost all the time. One thing I would say be careful of is as they introduce SMS, it is very easy to go over your usage, so be careful of that. But again, if you get bumped up automatically to another pricing level, you can just knock it down again the next month. So it is very flexible, very easy to use and I thoroughly recommend it.
