Cloudbeds is designed to improve the lives of independent property owners including, but not limited to, hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, inns, vacation rentals, apartments, campgrounds and more.
We worked directly with operators to build our software. Reservationists find the ease of booking and rebooking to be our best feature while owners love our unlimited custom reports and cost savings.
Great software to support my website booking system. Excellent support, help & guidance from initial purchase through to live integration with my website developers.
It is frustrated to deal with problems when there is no timeline attached as to when the problem will be solved.
The original sales rep in 2020 [sensitive content hidden] was amazing. So supportive, happy to help and fix any problems.
Cloudbed boasts of having a plethora of people, despite that it is impossible to have a French-speaking interlocutor ... which is far from being a dead language.
It´s great that you can choose which add-ons you want and only pay for what you need. This is a great concept.
Reporting very poor, there are a total of 26 usable reports, of which only 6 pertain to revenue management and there's no pace report, which is a basic revenue report.
It's overall a really good software platform, and their amazing customer service and constant improvements makes it a really good value. I highly recommend them.
A few missing features in my opinion, such as a mobile app with cc processing for checking/out.
Our team has been very satisfied with Fareharbor. It has reduced our amount of manual bookings drastically while increasing website conversion-- WIN, WIN.
Not being able to absorb the commission charged rather than have the customer pay for it.
Superb customer service. The switchover service from Zerve to FH was off the charts superb.
People had to call to book before and I think I lost a lot of clients because of this. Now they can just browse and buy.
All the people who I have worked with in getting this set up have been fantastic. The software looks great.
I have yet to discover any issues with the software, which could be described as a dislike.
I loved that there was was a free trial version that we could try before committing to the product. I also am grateful that there is online support and 24 hour support.
Their fee is pretty steep in my opinion. It's charged to the customer booking, but I don't like the amount of the fee no matter who it is passed on to.
Conor: My name is Conor. I'm the CEO of InstaTours, a tourism company, and I give FareHarbor five out of five. Yeah, so I used some of the res-tech companies other than FareHarbor. I found that they had a monthly subscription where FareHarbor is more pay as you go, so that's what I preferred. Also, I thought the FareHarbor support and demo were excellent, so I was able to get up to speed quicker. So it's easy to understand and hard to master in terms of there's a lot of functionality options when you get to it. I chose FareHarbor because it could also do a couple of locations, so I had it for Ireland and it for the UK and it was pay as you go. So every time I made a sale they took off some of that. So if I had some months where I made no sales, I didn't have to pay FareHarbor anything, which is really good for starting off when you don't know how big demand is and you're just trying to get going. So you don't have a heavy monthly payment with FareHarbor, it's more pay as you go. I thought it was really easy because they just set up a call with someone to show you how to demo the system and you give them some details, they set it up for your specifications already, so you don't need to do too much of setting up. It's already there for you. You just have to learn how to use it. Now with any new system, there's a bit of trial and error, but I just thought with FareHarbor there was very little error and you got up to speed very quickly with it, which was useful. Yeah, I'd definitely say use the trial and demo it, and it depends on nature of your tourism business, but it should fit most businesses. The people that set it up were tourism business owners in Hawaii and you can really feel that they were once the owner operators of their own tourism business. That's why they've solved all the problems. The support is excellent, they'll get back to you in an hour. So I'd say just trial it, give it two weeks and interact a lot with it and make your decision after that.
