Laura: Hi, I am Laura and I'm the manager at Roosevelt Plaza Apartments. We are a 100 unit Section 8 property, and I give ResMan a 5-star rating. Previously, we were using outdated software and a lot of old, antiquated paper ledger type style methods. We, for obvious reasons, wanted to get away from that and enter the 20th century where everyone else seems to be, and that is where ResMan took us. The reputation ResMan has in the affordable housing industry was one of the first things that turned me on to the software and made me interested in learning more about it. Once I found out how well their software was integrated with the affordable industry and everything that we needed to process certifications and collect rent from our tenants and enter in work orders and communicate with our tenants and so on, just the endless opportunities were really what inspired me to say, "This is the choice that we need to make for the company." So getting started with ResMan was something we had long anticipated and it was like waiting for a present to come and you just couldn't get it fast enough, but yet the process was actually really quick. We did a lot of onboard training. The software itself was super easy to use and understand. And then the support that we got during those training classes as we were getting set up during the onboarding process was in itself self-explanatory I guess is the way to say it. It was very easy to understand and simple. And then as we worked with it during the training, we got to touch and feel and play around with the software in this ResMan University world and experience it. Those questions that we had right off the bat were immediately answered before we even had our go live date with the software. If you're thinking about getting ResMan software or if you're looking into software companies for your property, whether you work in affordable or conventional housing, I highly recommend looking at the reviews, looking at what other customers have experienced in using the software and looking at the support that they offer. ResMan has had impeccable support. We were in the Stone Age and we are all very new to using software for affordable housing, and ResMan has quite literally taken us out of the Stone Age and into the 20th century, and it has been fantastic. So I strongly suggest as you're shopping around for software, that you take a look at what others have had to say about it and see some real life examples that are out there in reviews like this. And also perhaps do some Google searching. I did find that there were a lot of companies that we were interested in that had a lot of fluff that really wouldn't help us in the long run, and I haven't seen any of that fluff with ResMan.
