OnTarget vs Viewpoint Vista: Which is a better fit?

OnTarget is accurate, it does what it is supposed to do, when it is supposed to do it. Support is great, very responsive and capable, second to none.

Some odd ball issues have occurred with billing.

Our experience has been outstanding. We purchased OnTarget when we opened in 2013, and have always had a good experience.

Initially, it was a bit of a problem to connect and I’m not certain there is a Windows app to use on my desktop computer; there are some clunky features.

I want to express how much I love OnTarget, this company is another level with respect to the quality of attention and service, I love the companies that make customers feel comfortable, like at home.

All employee files are at our fingertips. No more getting up to check a filing cabinet for hire dates.

Their billing specialists are superb and the customer service/technical support staff is very helpful and responds in a timely manner.

The software also serves in the capacity of human resources with managing trainings, keep track of vacation/sick leave to name a few.

We have a pretty good experience with Viewpoint. MFM has finally gotten better, and clearview is helpful.

The outside accountants hate this software. I've used over 30 different software packages, and none of them are as bad and poorly designed.

Allow tons of 3rd party vendors to create great supplemental products. Great customization so it can be set up to what is important to your company.

When I make a mistake putting in Accounts payable and use the wrong batch month, it is a little unforgiving to get the mistake corrected. As I learn it is getting easier.

Overall after implementation and 6 months its been wonderful and I would highly recommend it to any Construction Company.

The integration was very poorly done, and we are still experiencing problems related to poor set-up over a year later even though we paid thousands and thousands of dollars for Viewpoint specialists.

Great product, great company, highly recommend. We have been on the product over a year and continue to be pleased.

Change Orders in the Project Management module are difficult and frustrate users. This problem alone has lead us to start exploring other options for our PMs.
