MarginEdge vs Marketman: Which is a better fit?

Before we had MarginEdge, we were using Excel spreadsheets, QuickBooks only, and data coming from our point-of-sale system that was taking us days, weeks, or even months to get the data we needed. And by the time we got it, it was too late to do anything. We chose MarginEdge after a search for a solution to all of our problems. I guess the main selling point was when I spoke to Michael Richmond and he let me know his extense history and background in the restaurant industry. So I wanted to work with people that understood restaurants, and that's what we're doing today. Getting started with MarginEdge was extremely easy. Videos for help and assistance were always available and everyone was a phone call away when needed, so we were able to get started very quickly. I would definitely recommend MarginEdge if you're looking for ways to get all the great data from your point-of-sale system into your accounting software. I would call them right away. I wouldn't delay. I would get in and do a test and watch some videos and see what they have to offer. You will not be disappointed.

Michael: My name is Michael. I'm the food service manager. This is the Ray Up's Cafe and I rate Marketman a five. Before Marketman, we were using the standard write it on a list in the dry storage, and the only problem with write it on a list in the the dry storage is things don't get written down correctly or the misspelled and the paper goes missing or the pen goes missing, and it just is very inconsistent. We chose Marketman simply because of how thorough you can track all of your inventory and the availability to check your inventory wherever I am. And should something become low, it will alert me to that stock that needs to be ordered. Getting started with Marketman was really pretty easy. With the installation and the usage, anything that I needed to learn how to use was easily accessible via their website or the training sessions that were included in the software. If you're looking into getting the Marketman software, my only advice is just be ready to use it and ready to have everyone up to speed on it. It will do so much for you and it'll take a lot of work off of you provided you put in the work and make sure that everyone is on board with what's going on.
