Shippers who own LTL contracts, send or receive 25 to 300+ shipments per week, and work with Parcel and/or Truckload who need a tool to streamline and analyze their freight.
Transportation related companies ranging from 1 to 30 million in revenue who are seeking growth, and who are looking for better ways to manage their freight.
We use this software out of about a dozen shipping locations over 20-30 carriers. The implementation team was great, and we have had a fantastic experience.
The spot quote page can be a little confusing when multiple loads are on the board. Other than the lane, it's difficult to distinguish which shipment is which.
We can now pull quotes, request pickups, track shipments and keeps our customers happy and informed on their orders. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to save money and improve productivity.
I have not come across any features with this software that I dislike.
The ability to see what will ship at the best price for us without having to use 3pl's. We can use the carriers we have good relationships with and still get the best pricing from each of them.
My only real issue is that I having to go all the way back to the first window and then completely start over in the first screen just to change a detail(s) or correct any error(s).
Freightview is great for our company. It is great to have all of our shipoments in one location and be able to track them in realtime from the website.
Sometimes it is annoying with the items you have to continue making new ones so not to edit the ones you already are using.
I have been working with FMS/ VLP systems for several years & have always had nothing but good experiences. The ease of learning the functions & utilizing the system has always been good for us.
There are a few quirks that have just been there since i started using 20 years ago. One place I know that you should be able to utilize in equipment, but it will give an error every time.
I like the ease in the ability to use it. You can handle any type of logistical business with this platform.
Takes a while to get used to all of the features. Sometimes have trouble logging in early mornings but that could be on my part.
The system is not to complicated and easily manageable for all. If & when we come upon an issues I will say FMS has a great response team to help out no matter what the issue may be.
I don't like that if an invoice was made for a load and changes need to be made you have to void the whole thing instead of being able to change it.
The ease of use on any browser for this TMS is really nice.
When entering a load, the system will OFTEN glitch and lose all load info. We then must log out of the dispatch screen, reload the dispatch side, and repopulate the info to post.
