For teams who want to work in Agile. Whether you 1) are just starting, 2) have started but the Agile experience has been unsatisfactory, or 3) your team has deep Agile knowledge and experience.
Teams looking for better organization for their teams and projects.
The UI is great, you can easily create cards, track progress and more for your team. Also you can manage the theme of the dashboard, I loved it.
A bit strange colour scheme, a bit lost in editing issue texts. Personally I feel more in control when I edit issues in GitHub.
The custom fields have been convenient for billing purposes and the ease of use when moving tickets around is nice and fun to do.
Its little bit confusing working with different kinds of screens. There have some terms that users cannot understand them easily until they figure it out.
Maybe the best tool to work with agile methodologies of projects management. Agile teams love this tool because of it ease of use and all the functionalities it has.
We find it difficult to keep individual scrum boards updated in projects when our stand up is in the Kanban board.
Also mobile app is there again neatly designed. Kanban view is very good really liked it better than other tools i have seen for project management tools.
User interfaces are very complex and it is very hard get enroll with this. Need additional training provide to uses to get started.
For task management it is a super good tool, it is very complete and the integration with 365 due to being from the same manufacturer makes it one of the most complete and easy on the market.
It does have limits in the enterprise tier we have. The most annoying is that we can't tag team members in the comments of tasks and we can't create sub-tasks within it.
Overall experience has been very good, quite satisfied and my work flow has improved.
I have many small business clients, ran by over-stressed small business owners who only use their phones, and only have time to take in limited amounts of information. This app is useless on mobile.
Microsoft Planner is an excellent benefit of an M365 subscription and the possibilities of its use in conjunction with Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, Outlook and more are huge.
Regarding this app, there are few things I dislike.
Easy to setup, perfect integration with Microsoft tools works perfectly combined with forms and power automate.
It is limited, and i assume as the product develops more and more, the cons i do have will go away.
