Bench is an amazing product that is in the cloud. I love that i can access my books from anywhere on the go and get a snapshot of how the company is doing week to week.
I hate how my bank account always goes offline and I have to remember my password again and again to get it back online.
App is very easy to use and pretty much user friendly. Very clean and definitely love the layout of it.
Much flat-out wrong technical information about the PPP program. They should not represent themselves as PPP experts.
Each month Bench sends over my monthly expense report, and keeps everything perfectly balanced, like all things should be. I highly recommend bench, and look forward to continuing my subscription.
It can be very time consuming and frustrating especially since I am extremely busy already. I also have to confirm purchases from months prior and that can take a long time.
I have such a better grasp on our financials, and I love the interface. I would recommend this to anyone.
My issues have been with smaller banks making it difficult to link accounts to Bench, but this is less about Bench, and more about the banks’ software.
Quickbooks is easy to manage use and learn. It provides good reports quickbook comes at an affordable price therefore it has been perfect fot my small buisness.
The biggest downfall of QBO is that it is very different from QBD and has a learning curve. If the users do not learn how to propertly use QBO, they can mess up the companies books BAD.
Fields to fill and perfectly links the data from one end like ap and AR to the bank reconciliation. Great reports on transactions for the month or period if interest.
No 'undo' button and not excessively intuitive. If you make a mistake, have to know how to reverse/correct it.
Great smart accounting software that is very responsive and nice to send invoices and get paid faster.
Quickbooks left me feeling incapable of completing the simple tasks required to run our day to day business. I hated every moment I spent logged on to quickbooks.
Great product, very reliable and simple to use. They have multiple integration capabilities, which is super helpful for freelancers.
When you first start using the app it can be irritating and tricky.
Erik: My name is Erik. I'm the Executive Director of a nonprofit company. And I give Bench five star reviews. For more reviews like this, click below. Before I signed up with Bench, I was using a brick and mortar accounting company, and it was cumbersome. It was like just miles of paperwork. It was expensive. And Bench cut our accounting expenses in half. And their online platform is super easy to use. And I'm so thankful for them. I chose Bench because I was traveling and working mobile, and Bench had the best online platform of anything I could find. And they totally saved my company as we were starting. And I'm really grateful for them. Bench was so easy to start with. I mean, they made the process of onboarding so simple. And within an hour, I had an online platform and I could understand our accounting and they're super responsive whenever I have any issues. Yeah, so the onboarding process was crazy simple with Bench. My advice and recommendation for anybody thinking about starting with Bench is just to set up get acquainted call. They're super friendly, super easy to talk to. You should be able to determine pretty quickly if they're good accounting service for you.
Speaker 1: My name is Alex. I'm the COO for Made By WiFi. We're a boutique IT firm based out of New York City with under 10 employees. I would rate QuickBooks Online a 5/5. I use QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping, invoice management, accounts receivables, payment processing, as well as the reporting capabilities which are very rich. I like how easy it was to pick up and learn. I've never used QuickBooks before. We were managing our company's finances through Google Sheets prior to QBO. The learning curve was basically a day, we got it all figured out. It's very easy to navigate and it's very easy to find what you need as well as streamline financial operations. Just making it easier to get paid, essentially. I'd like to see more consistent monthly billing from QBO. I feel like our monthly billing increased almost by 50% since we signed up without really getting more features. I'm not sure how quickly or why they raised their prices so aggressively, but they have, and I wish there was just more of a locked-in rate for a period of time that we could have agreed to.
