I also like the ability to give granular admin access to front line IT support. Ability to set up workflows is fantastic.
The lack of a search in your workflows can be painful. If you have over 50 - 100 workflows, scrolling through each page (that are sorted alphabetically) can be a bit time consuming.
It love how it syncs so quickly with GSuite (typically changes happen within 10-15 seconds instead of 30 minutes with MS.) It does provide a few extra features as well over GS like delegation.
This company has charged my credit card twice - the 2nd time was after I disputed the charge with American Express. I am now disputing the charge for a second time.
I personally experienced it. It is really amazing software.
Hell, my cheaper subscription services have cancellation components built into their apps, why can't this one.
I enjoy Bettercloud's ease of use and low barrier to entry. You can started with a handful of useful workflows almost immediately, and without much training.
Tanya writes back and tells me it is too late to cancel. I am still trying to cancel this account even after submitting a written request to cancel BEFORE the auto-renewal.
The simplicity of backups is amazing compared to some competitor products. We've owned the product for 1.5 years now and we're still as happy today as we were when we first purchased it.
My biggest complaint is, there is no Cohesity sponsored user training. Many other software businesses offer some user training.
Cohesity is an amazing platform that greatly reduced out data management and backup footprint. I really like the ease of use and ability to have one place to go for all of our data protections needs.
There is one of our VMs that the Cohesity could not index, so we're forced to leave it unindexed.
They people are great and are providing an excellent service. Cohesity is a forward thinking company looking to stay ahead of the curve and provide that best data experience.
Application backups (Exchange, SQL, AD) will all require an agent and the agent management is very poor in my opinion.
We have had a very positive experience with the tool. The ability to integrate with multiple virtualization platforms and manage all of them in the same way has been really great.
Cloud storage is a bit hard to get a handle on, as far as how much will actually be replicated.
Joshua: I'm Joshua. I'm a security and infrastructure engineer. I give Cohesity four out of five stars. And for more reviews, click below. Cohesity is our primary backup product, as well as a product that we use for SMB file shares. My favorite thing about the Cohesity product is its ease of use. As a small shop, the administration within the Cohesity gooey makes it easy to check my backups, set up new policies, and verify that files are up and able to be accessed by our users with just a couple of clicks. The biggest challenge probably with Cohesity is the storage planning tools. I wish they had a little bit better tools to help plan for future consumption. But with that said, the tools that are there are okay. I just think they could be a little bit better.
