The other thing I love about the software is their customer support team. Wow, they are some of the best support people I've ever encountered.
And the URL is not something easy to remember. Although they do this for security reasons, to reduce the risk of accounts getting hacked.
It's been great for our size of company. I'm sure there are more robust softwares out there that can do more, but all of those were out of our price range.
I have been using the product since 2012 and it has delayed our decision year after year to move away from QB to a mid-size accounting system.
The ease of basic setup, integration with payment processors and basic product functions are great. The API is also very functional and pretty nice to work with.
There are a lot of features but I often have trouble figuring out where to go or what reports I need.
I went the the product largely due to pricing early on, but have been really impressed with the ease of use and the improved reporting.
To avoid errors, to ensure that the client receives their invoice when the date is current, I track this info on a spreadsheet outside of SaaS.
It is super easy to use and really nice to use when you don't want to have to deposit a check. The security is great because you can't do much without having to log in every time.
Asking clients to do this is embarrassing and it seriously impedes cash flow. It makes paypal a bad option for firms who only use it sporadically.
At present I manage the money from my classes and my work in this account and it seems affordable and reliable, I can tell you that it is a super positive experience to use it.
The most frustrating experience is recently I had a dispute and I could not see the dispute details in the app and had to login via the browser.
It has been seamless and teaching how to use for clients has also been great. I like PayPal and would recommend.
However, it is somewhat difficult to navigate disputes between buyers and sellers. It can be difficult to navigate to the section of Paypal that you need in order to work through a dispute.
I love the fast processing of payments and the user friendly platform. Love how so many places do accept it as payment and many seller stores offer it.
Your account locked and going through a painful experience to having it unlocked again. No direct customer support hotline - have to go through a painful chat support.
Shane: Hi, my name is Shane. I work at a technology company. I'm an enterprise account executive, and I give Chargify a 5 out of 5. I use Chargify really to start projecting on what we're going to see as money comes in and where we can be. You know, a lot of times we use Chargify to host promo codes, we use it for different promotions that we're doing, coupon codes, followups, updating payment information, all those kinds of things. And one of the things that I think that has stood out about it, when we use it, is when we have people or customers that are renewing, and it's been a really good thing that automatically will update credit cards as they've updated expiration dates, and so that's something that's newer, that's launched with Chargify, as well as sending them emails automatically, so they can update their payment information. So what I like best about Chargify is how easy it is to say process refunds, change products, update the payment information. It's a very simple look, as you're coming into that portal, it's easy to utilize the function, and you can set permission so that certain people have access and certain people don't, to different things. So, you know, components, adding components, all of those things, those processes, I think are very, very simple to use. So one thing that I don't like about Chargify is their ACH processes, and I don't necessarily know if this is specifically a Chargify issue, but it was really difficult to find out the reasoning, as we were trying to look at doing big drafts, as opposed to just credit card transactions. And so one of the things I guess, wrapped in all of that, is just some of the support that you get, I believe it's a little delayed or it's not really to the point sometimes when you have very specific questions.
Nischala R.: Hi. My name is Nischala. My job title is Payroll Manager and Admin, and my company size is 140 hairstylists. It is a franchisee of a hair salon. And I rate four out of five to the PayPal, and five is the highest. So I use PayPal as a payer as well as the receiver. I am pretty active volunteer, so we receive PTO payments from the school community. We receive the... I do some kind of Christmas gift card for bus driver, those kinds of things. So I am at the receiver ends also, and most of the invoices, what we receive for the hair salon industry, we have an option of PayPal payment. So for my professional payment work, we use PayPal as a payer, one of the option for payment. I feel that it doesn't have the login problem in the sense that forgot password is not required. We can log in as one time code, which has made my life easy in the sense that I do not download apps and so the login issue has been taken care. And whenever I make the payment, I see the options of do you want to pay by PayPal balance and do you want to pay by the bank account, which is connected to the PayPal and also the credit card, which person might have with the PayPal account. So I like the connectivity issue. We don't have to remember the password, we don't have to download any app, and it has the internal options for the payment. I know that we have lots of options for the payment nowadays. One thing which I don't like, when it gives me the first option, do you want to pay by the PayPal balance, I do not know the amount, what is in the PayPal. So I know that if I have $50 and I am buying something $100, that $50 can be paid by PayPal and $50 via the bank account connected. But I really want the amount which is in the PayPal balance to be visible without going through the app or clicking so many options.
