MerusCase vs Docket Alarm: Which is a better fit?

Meruscase was extremely helpful in our transition to digital case files, and the features it has are a godsend for management.

There are no calendaring chains for personal injury cases. Also, that I cant grab a document from merus and put it onto my desktop.

As a user since 2013, this just keeps getting better and better and the customer support is the best.

Can't think of anything that I dislike about this software.

The templates are a fantastic feature; save time, money and streamline a process which is highly susceptible to errors. The batch scanning feature is great for making mail processing more efficient.

No app to track and get reminders for different aspects of the case. Just a general "tasker" but again, no reminders.

Very user friendly, easy to use and maintain, easily accessible anywhere while adhering to HIPPA and security requirements. Great for accessing documents during court.

I access my cases and mail from anywhere because the program is cloud-based. I can open files in court for presenting to the judge and for questioning witnesses.

The feature I like most is the expanded search ability which allows you to narrow down cases or find the exact documents you are looking for with ease.

The only problem I had with the software at first was finding certain cases that were older, but there is a date filter that fixes that problem.

Nice looking and easy-to-use user interface, extensive databases of legal decisions, nice filters to narrow them, and properly named files when we download.

The patent office's website can be difficult to navigate, and if you need to get updates for a dozen court cases, it could take an hour or more to check each one.

It helps us extend our legal coverage and provides a very useful api access.
